    Hi kuya. I also did this and flushed 3 times with coolant just to be sure because the car had 140k miles and I didnt know the history. OMG the color was not only rust, but almost black copper colored! It took 3 flushes to run clear each with 30 minutes of running the car with the heater on. Took half a day but after, I drove the car from LA to Vegas with ease and enjoyed buffets! I asked my mechanic if I should change the thermostat, he said he rarely sees a bad thermostat anymore but best to flush coolant to enjoy many more miles on the car. So far, 10k miles later, the car runs great. Thanks for sharing the video!

    Don't you have to drain the coolant first then fill with distilled water and cleaner?

    Thanks Ed, I have an ARMADA SUV with total capacity 14.4 litres, so I used 2 bottles of the LM cleaner, I have flushed tousands of times now but can't get rid of the foaming in the outgoing water, is it an issue ? It's time now to recompose the system, I have been on 100% water for a few days already

  • @edcardiy

    Andre Souza, I think the foaming is only the residue of the cleaner, Since you are 100% water, I think now is OK to flush and put fresh 50/50 Coolant & distilled water, You don't want that water to stay long in your engine, It will corrode inside. Hope this helps you. More DIY & Mods coming soon, Please LIKE & SUBSCRIBE and Thanks for watching!!!👍

    @@edcardiy thanks Ed, I talked to LM and they said that I made a mistake because I ran the cleaner for 3 days and not 30 minutes as recommended; they advised to get rid if the foaming as much as possible but whatever is left won't hurt, I'll start recomposing tomorrow, thanks

    Some people pour LM on to the radiator, some on the reservoir.. which one is correct..??

    In my opinion it doesn't matter where you pour it, They will be mixed in the system anyway. More DIY & Mods coming soon, Please LIKE & SUBSCRIBE and Thanks for watching!!!👍

    Do you run the engine once the distilled water in the reservoir? If so, for how long? How many time you flushed with distilled water? Kabayan😊

  • @edcardiy

    @edcardiy

    You do not need to run the engine to do the flushing, BMW have electric water pump and it can run independently while engine is off, Just make sure you put a battery charger on your battery, So your battery will not deplete (water pump takes a lot of power). Salamat!!!👍

    After putting in flush treatment, I drain it, then run hose water through it while leaving petcock open, engines running. Drain that out, put distilled in run that for a bit, drain that & add antifreeze mix. Oh also change Thermostat out just for the hell of it if it's been in there for years & years.
