I've had my 35qt BougeRV for two years now. I've plugged it into my truck-no problems. Mostly it stays in one of my bedrooms plugged in the outlet (ECO mode) no problems! I love it. It's a great investment.

2 doors was exactly what I was thinking. You don't always want to open the freezer when you get into the fridge, and visa versa. Great product for camping or even a picnic. Thanks for the review, Rudy. Blessings. 💙💙

That is exactly what I was thinking, that the double doors would enhance the efficiency of the side that you don't want to open.

It does not truly matter because cold air is heavy and stays at the bottom, just like a deep freezer. Of course you don't want to leave it open for a super log time but there is no major efficiency issues.

Nice! I’ve always kept our coolers out of the sun anyways, so that’s no deal breaker at all. Price is right too!

You know AP, I love all the gadgets. However...for all of us single ladies, it would be nice if these companies put out their products with colour options such as purple, baby blue, pink, etc.!!!! Lol. I know it has nothing to do with functionality ( I'd be very grateful no matter the colour in an emergency for sure) but it would be nice to look at equipment that wasn't red, forest green, orange or bright yellow.😊

Thank you Rudy for the review. We bought one. Our other fridge just couldn't cut it. Did a road trip the last week and it worked great. Had to learn adjustments with a few produce frozen but it was great. Cannot thank you enough. Mr. B has worried about refrigeration for years and a freezer is the bonus.

Have a smaller one for almost 2 years. Runs off my bluetti eb70s or jackery explorer 1500.❤❤

It’s aprox. 30 minute drive to town to get groceries. This would be great for keeping stuff good while driving home in summer with 90-100° temps.

Great review. One of the most comprehensive I've seen on this model. Testing it out with real food rather than popsicles would have been helpful but still a good overview of the unit and how it works. I just ordered the 37 qt model to have for power outage emergencies. I can't wait to get it and try it out.

The "High, Medium, and Low" modes are not for the max and eco modes instead are the battery protection modes for when you run the fridge from the cigarette lighter in your vehicle so it won't discharge your car battery. Once the voltage on your car battery drops to a certain level the fridge turns off to keep the battery charged enough so that you won't be stranded. Thanks for your review. Am interested in buying a third 12V fridge.

You know the best part is that no ice is needed. Even with the highest quality coolers ice, even block ice, only lasts about two days. Look at how much room is available to use because there is no ice taking up space. Ice cost is $2 to $5 per day for that space and ice will not rock up salvaged game meat. Dry ice, yeah, but it is super expensive. Thanks AP.

Looks like a great fridge. I like working with companies that have actual customer service you can speak to in case questions or issues arise. Not so with this company.

The app super simple and easy to use. I'm a truck driver and I have this sitting in my passenger seat and have vents pointed towards the driverw seat so the app makes it easier to monitor and sTemps. temps. I got the model that has separate doors for the compartments.

When you fill the fridge and freezer with items, it will work even better I bet. The mass of more cool/frozen items will help it maintain even better. Also, they make an insulator/cover for this as well.

I got the 48qt size. It works great. Took it camping for a couple of days. Had it connected to my Jackery 1000. Kept everything nice and cold.

I bought the Refrigerator Portable Car Freezer 53 Quart Fridge one for my daughter for their many power outages they get in her home state.... she loves it.

Be a nice unit for travel, or camping, but I would never buy this for "grid down". That's silly, unless your flush with cash. Spend the money on a solar power station that can run your fridge or chest freezer. BTY...Pecron is selling their E600LFP for $329.1200w invertor, 600wh, accepts 400w solar. Worth every penny.

This is the same cooler as my Bodega. I've used it for over a year now and it's awesome. Runs off the plug in the back of my f150. Works great for camping, but that battery will only run it for 5 or 6 hours.

I originally misread your question...yes, you should be able to recharge the units battery with your generator.
