    Great video! Is it necessary to close the hot tub after adding the chlorine/bromine, as you mentioned that overchlorination can be reduced by exposing the tub to the sun? I was under the impression that we need to leave the tub cover open after adding chlorine so that the fumes don’t get trapped.

  • @SailingAquila

  • @SailingAquila

    @SailingAquila

    Жыл бұрын

    Normally it goes cloudy if the chlorine drops. You can then try shocking it to see if it improves. Otherwise, you'll need to drain and start again. Often discoloured water is caused my people going into the tub that haven't showered. Sun cream, deodorant, make up, and fake tan etc can make it go cloudy. Even the oils from the skin, or worse still urine, will have an impact.
