As I’m usually based in the States, do you think this strategy would work using London highs and lows during the New York session?

For this strategy there are some EAs that can do most of the boring job for you and Indicators to save you time drawing those areas. Excellent strategy! Good content. Cheers!!

Just came across your channel and video by chance, and this is my exact trading strategy i use being based in London and a London session trader. Statistically it works really well took a nice 30 pip win this morning. But buy limits not so sure best idea. Your better off watching the chart as soon as you break out on the 5MTF to see if you get that pullback and rejection of the breakout area otherwise you run the risk of being stopped out. Not to mention you also have the London fake outs to contend with which could also blow your stop loss immediately.

Should the break of the Asian high or low be after the overlap between Asian and London session? I mean must the Asian session be closed before considering this?

You changed your strategy on day 4 to get into the trade without it retracing all the way back up to your marked area, I really like this move as it shows you reacting to price as it plays out. Had you done the same on day 3 you would of had another winning trade. This is why I like to stay in front of the charts. To react instantly and not miss winning trades because you were a few pips out with your order. Enjoying the channel ❤

Most fx traders/gurus will actually tell you not to do that because it is no longer the strategy when you change it. Most people do this, manipulating their strategy and end up losing in the long run. That's emotional trading and I definitely would not advise that.

What currencies you trade with

on the breakout, i use 0.5% to get in the trade a few pips above/ below the consolidation phase. if the trade takes off, i do similar to you and then go for the 1% trade with stops above the structure. if the market retraces and tests and confirms the breakout, i enter 1% and so in total im at 1.5% risk. if the market retraces and hits stops, it is only .5% risk.

When trading with fractals, should trader flip charts, 15M, 1H,4H,D1, all at once & see where support & resistance IS as shown by fractals on each frame--and if if it fits close to top/bottom of daily ADR, take that trade. Now 15M fractal level may not be robust(strength wise) enough--but 1H fractal is because to form 1H fractal, market could not penetrate THAT LEVEL IN 5 CANDLES WHICH IS 5 HOURS--and that is lot of data(strength).AND fractal on 1H chart is not just one man talking but line (support/resistance) drawn by millions of traders in those 5 hours. Just act on 1H fractal--and trade be in the direction of 4H/daily trend. Any suggestions?

Great job...Question.. I hear this question a lot. For the london breakout what time do i trade on my puter to be hitting the proper time since I an in GMT zone GMT-04:00.. Any advice you can give will be greatly appreciated by many of your subscribers. I have been Trading at 00:00 midnight in the past but not doing well.. Any way to calculate the correct time and anyway to be sure its the right place would be greatly appreciated. Many of the youtubers with videos on London Breakout tell me that i should be trading at midnight to be in the action that begins at exactly midnight when the london breakout begins.

London break out starts at 8am GMT. So if your 4 hours behind you should be at 4am your time (I think??) Hope this helps.

I know for a fact that the asian session is from 0000 to 0700 GMT.. So is it possible or make sense to set my timezone to London time zone which is GMT+1 and trade the asian session using the time 0000 to 0700. Hope that is not confusing as it seems to work... i WOULD appreciate your thoughts on this as i am not sure that i am building the box at the exact time as needed for the Asian session from midnight to 7 am to be able to watch the breakout that will occur in the following session which is the London breakout. Or am i totally lost in the dark..

The reason i chose UTC +1 is that i see many UK traders using utc+1 and they say they are using the 0000 thru 0700 for the asian get ready for breakout box. I also notice that you use the Utc +1 so i am assuming you are in the London area also.. Is it true that you use the 0000 0700 for the asian box.. Hope you can help as I have seen a few others ask similar questions.. Determining the actual trading time for each area of the Nation seems to be a confusing area for some especially me. If we can resolve this I am sure it will have many others. Thanks for all the great work you do in explaining all this..

Hey there. I've now tested your variation of the london breakout strategy and scrolled back the last 3 months on GBP/USD. I haven't had a single profitable month? Like all the other london breakout approaches you find actually none of them worked for me so far. I wonder why that is? Is it all just working for the KZreadrs? :)

If only it was that easy... And if it was then she would be using it, getting a funded account of $1,000,000. Selling a paid signal service and allowing copy trading for a fee! Oh, and she wouldn't be giving the strategy away for free! It's just a way to promote Forex Tester 5 for commission.

Can one use it for prop trading?

will this work on any pair. I am going to start doing some bac testing on this. The only problem I would have is I am in the US and I would have to be up at 1:00 in the morning. But I am still willing to give it a shot.

Depends which broker you go with. You could always add a pip to the target if you want to get particular about fees
