I have made 14 of your quilts for charity while recovering from open heart surgery. I will have to slow down a little when I go back to work, which I am not really looking forward to! I am eagerly waiting your latest book which I ordered a month ago, but it has a long way to come (8,000 miles) so I will just keep checking my mailbox every day like a child waiting for a long awaited present 🥰 I have (re)watched every one of your videos while I have been recovering. I made my daughter a quilt using this pattern for her 40th birthday & it was so easy! I embroidered butterflies on the middle block. I just gave it to her on Sunday. She loves it! I was excited to see the other fabric choices today, they're beautiful!

I am in Canada until end of November…but I downloaded your generous gift of a free pattern. I have made a lap quilt and enjoyed it so much. I did not buy expensive fabric but I surprised myself. I only did 5 inch squares but I did put a double frame around it though, wish I could send you a picture. The ladies in my FB quilting group said I did a nice job and that my points were good. Oh! Happy day. Can’t wait to get back to Florida and get something from you guys!

I have this book but never gave this pattern much of a look- you do a great job showing how to change the look of the quilt with the fabric choices. I went to a fabric store the other day to purchase three fabrics for another one of your patterns- I told my husband I would be about an hour. Well three hours later when I got home and he was wondering what happened. I started to explain the focus fabric, then picking a number 2 and 3. After staring at me like I as a crazy person, he said "I just want to know who to blame for no dinner". I told him Donna...lol.

The only white Christmas I ever had was in Beaufort , SC where my Marine husband was stationed. The kids were SO excited! Of course they were, they were misplaced California kids and had never seen that much snow in their life! You guys reminded me that fun memory. Thanks! hyusband was stationed! Thanks so much! What a great pattern. Our Fiber Guild does a Quilt-a-thon every fall to make quilts for community donations...this would be a perfect pattern to use! One question: Can you use directional fabric with this? Any tips?

I have a question for you guys. I don’t think I want to make a big quilt, just a lap quilt. Does this pattern have dimensions for a smaller quilt or can I make 2 lap quilts with this pattern if I split in half? Sorry for being so stupid…..new at this…

Hi Mickey! Our patterns make what we call a "lap size" quilt which is approx. 45"x60". You could make them smaller with a little tweaking and creativity. We actually did a video on ideas on how to make our 3-yard quilts smaller. I cannot get this quilt pattern to come up so I can down load it. A different pattern, triangles & squares comes up when I tap on “free pattern download”.

How can I view your fabrics and choose my own style. Do you take checks or money orders don't like to use credit cards. Love your program makes me want to more. Excellent tutorial

Could I use flannel fabric with is pattern?

Of course! We like to put flannel on the back of our quilts, but you could also use it as a part of the quilt top. Just be careful if using flannel and traditional cotton fabrics as they may size differently. You could also use a minky type fabric as well.
