Thats what you get when you go to Pittsburgh
I just watched the first 5 minutes of the video. I already really like the concept: 1. selling animals as living creatures, not as a gimmick 2. giving them space I'm from Germany and here it is forbidden by law to keep snakes (except for juveniles) in racks. The minimum amount of space for an adult sanke is his body lengs 1x0,5x0,5 (lxhxw) so a 4 foot snake needs a 4 by 2 by 2 enclosure. That reduces the number of animals you can keep, but you can enjoy them way more than stuffed into small boxes.

Hey men I live in Belgium. Here we're only allowed to keep 147 snake species. The biggest snake we can keep or BCI and BCC. So no burms or retics. What's the law in Germany? Btw I have a male aberrant cali king that's 4months young. He's a sweethart and also very curious.👍🐍
Garrett's the man! Incredible guy that's really earned his stellar reputation!

Juan Carlos Campos I already have one of those. I’d like a dwarf retic. As I said
wow! i have much respect for garrett and the way he keeps and handles his animals, and some day if i get a retic, i’ll get it from no other breeder!
That motley golden child was absolutely stunning. Garrett is an awesome guy I've watched for quite a while now. Glad you got to go hang out with him.

We love ours
I've handled two baby retics at my local reptile shop, unaware of the negative reputation they sometimes carry. Also a 25 foot old lady at a zoo workshop - so tame that toddlers could stroke her head and nose! I thought they were all wonderful - very personable, curious and very easy to handle (babies not giant one! 😉) once you've earned their trust. They are super intelligent animals and in looks they are the definitive Jungle Book snake. They look 'velvety'. Definitely misunderstood and very, very special. Super Dwarfs are on my dream wish list - but how on earth do you choose between all those amazing morphs? 🤔 (think those super tigers might win though, wow). Thanks Dav and Garrett for showing us some of these gorgeous snakes 🤗🐍 More videos together please - how about a joint trip to some of those islands to see them in the wild? 👍 PS - you need one of those tiny homes on wheels, with a whole interior wall converted into tanks so you can take your animals travelling with you Dav! (well at least around the US!)

The one he brings out at 19:54 but never says the locality name(I need to know!)was the most gorgeous one in my opinion, fantastic looking snake! Granted they all look great, but this one takes the prize for me.

Holy smokes, those are some beautiful animals! Hats off to Garrett for his dedication to the breed.
Dude, Garret is the SD King! I love listening to him nerd out on localities and genetics. He’s got some really great videos out there that are super informative and you gotta love his style! Need I say more? Thanks again for another great video. BTW Dāv, what did you end up with when you went shopping at Reach Out Reptiles? 🤘🏻🐍

I'm still shopping. lol. I want to get a really nice male to go with the female we already have, so we're talking about some things. I'm definitely getting it from Garrett though.

Great video of garrats place. He is way different and even ahead of many breeders and has a great attitude to boot. He talks in a way in which is easily understood for those of us who haven't done this for twenty years .. I love his channel even though I will prob never want any retic well maybe a super small one . But he's a great influence and amasador for the reptile hobby and world ... So two great guys in the reptile world together ...

I have watched a lot of Garret’s videos. While I’m not really a selective breeding enthusiast, I think the care he gives his animals is as good as it can be given the size of his collection and the space he has. And, whether you’re into morphs or not, he has bred stunning animals. I like his shelf idea for the snakes. Thanks Dav for another highly enjoyable video.

Glad you enjoyed John
Omg I’m not a retic guy at all but that first retic you brought outside to show off, the “normal” version in super dwarf size, was STUNNING. Absolutely beautiful snake
When I bought my snake I got him from basically the best breeders in my country :) I think it's really important to get animals from breeders that really care about their animals :)
Great video.. My wife agreed its cool to get into sd/d retics somewhat skeptical as she remembers the big guys we had back in the late 80's and traded some emails with garret. After showing her this vid she's on board 100% and is more excited than I am to hopefully get one soon!!!

My Favorite retic of all time is a Super Tiger! Those super tiger dwarf ?? Are so STUNNING!! I'm so amazed at the Care and Passion that's put in to this work. This is what Pure Driven Passion looks like. I'm Truly Grateful to be able to witness and get a glimpse into this. This might the closest I'll ever be to such Stunning Creatures. Thank You
I think Garrett is my favorite retic lol he thinks like them knows their ins and outs so well he is an amazing person in the Reptile community. Awesome video 💪🏼🔥💪🏼

Im not a retic keeper but always wondered about the SD retic, fantastic video and really well explained. Thanks guys!
Outstanding!!! He has nailed it! True super dwarfs the best of the best in a small package. And manageable size but the same look as the mainland retics! Revolutionary and such a serious breeder! Rock On!! Retics are so amazing but they get so big its hard to find forever responsible homes. So much work well deserved! Wow!
I owe Garret so many thanks, because of his incubator videos I've been hatching out 100% of all my viable ball python eggs and his incubation methods have taken most of the worry around egg incubation out of the picture for me. I really don't know why more breeders don't use his method it's fool proof and trust me I know fool!
My third time watching this video. I have officially changed my mind on retics and, once I have the space, my next snake will be from Reach Out Reptiles. ❤️
I've seen Garrett's videos and I really liked them but I never knew he had so much knowledge and so many awesome snakes! Thanks for going there. you both rock!

I really enjoyed this guy! I just started my own hognose hobby breeder project and I am really striving to do a bit more for them. They have enrichment and can burrow along with larger tubs. I also really care about my snakes temperament and want them accustomed to handling before they’re sold. Now that said I understand that I can do this because I have a much smaller operation, not knocking the more experienced guys doing it differently than me.. it’s just how I am choosing to do things. But I appreciate his perspective and it was cool to hear what he had to say!

I am obsessed with the Madu Kalotoa male. For me the draw to the SD animals has to do with what Garrett talks about. One tsunami and these animals are gone! Not only is he bringing retics to those who don't want a huge snake but he's preserving a species

Wow this video is very informative, specially because there is no books or guidelines that specificly talks about dwarf and superdwarf bloodline, thank you for sharing and i looking foward to another retics video. Awesome content as always. 👍🏻 I got to mention that in almost every intro you do in your vlogs when you often look right in the camera and slowly walk forward it looks like you are floating or stand on a like a segway or something and just levitate slowly forward.
