A covert government organization, commanded by the ruthless, high-ranking official Amanda Waller, hires some of the world's most dangerous, jailed criminals to carry out perilous black operations missions and defend the world from a possibly cataclysmic threat posed by an unknown, supernatural entity. If anything goes wrong on this expedition, the government will not be held accountable and will instead be able to blame the villains, who are essentially wicked people. A tiny bomb is implanted in the neck of each member of the squad, capable of detonating if one of the members attempts to rebel or flee. It will be up to this collected gang of criminals to triumph over the seemingly impossible circumstances that will occur in what many regard as a "suicide mission."
