I have every year Cadillac from 1973-2018 except this one, my son totaled it recently and am looking for a replacement, this one was one of my favorites

I have owned a 2001 Cadillac Deville DHS with 119, XXX miles on it and it was in the same condition as the one you showed. It had two owners before me and one owner being a good friend of mine who bought it off a dealership back in 2005 with miles around 40k at the time. She had taken extremely good care of the car when she had it and sold it to me for $4,200 back in 2016. As much as I loved the car, it did have a ton of issues not long after I bought it. The issues I have had with the car, are issues many people have had with theirs. It was really costly to repair things on it and too many check lights started coming up along with too many sensors going bad. I decided I would sell the car and get rid of it for something better. I ended up selling the car in December of 2017. Now I own a 2008 Kia Rio, which is an awesome little car with insanely good gas mileage and very reliable. If someone would ask me if I would recommend a Cadillac Deville to buy, I would honestly say no and to stray far away from the car unless they don't mind putting a lot of gas in it and having your bank account dried out when repairs are needed. The only thing the Deville was nice for, was it's luxury. People are better off buying reliable fuel efficient cars than the Deville. That's my honest take on it.

Kansas Man you are very correct there are 2 cars I will never buy again, a Cadillac of any type and a ford 6.0 diesel..why manufacturers put out cars that have so many problems and do it for years and never fix the issues is beyond me...have a great night and thanks for sharing my friend :)

@Sweet Project Cars In one comment you said you would never buy a Cadillac of any type but in this comment you agree people should get one. Why is that?

Now show us the oil pan leak. No I’m not hating. I have a 2001 Deville base and a few youtube videos about the car. I like them and wanted to see the problems they have first hand. It is a rich man car. Poor people can’t take good care of them.

Ray Allen How much fuel economy do you want from a 280+ cuin 32 valve 275+ hp v8 in a 4000 pounds car?

blackericdenice I know it's a heavy car, but I feel so strange about it's 275 hp engine, because this car drives like it's only 150 hp .

Yes it does feel weak at light throttle. You have to put your foot to the floor because the engine has 32 valves without vvt.
