No Cats' Lair for me. As much as I love this line, that playset is not iconic enough to me personally to devote the space and funds. I look forward to seeing reviews, though!

For the joints, they can use colored plastic not painted joints. Many Japanese figure makers do this and you don't have paint rub as a result, but that may increase cost. NECA has this same issue as they use painted joints too. Not sure about Hasbro as I don't own anything of theirs.

These joints are colored plastic. The issue is that the color won't match everywhere that the joint is visible, as seen on Ratar-O's hands.

I'm not sure what you mean. It would need to be a plastic that's one color on one side and another color on the other. Nothing to do with quality.

Do you feel that Ratar-O is very light as a figure? I own Slitthe and he looks and feels weighty and I was under the assumption that Ratar-O would be almost as weighty, but he is not even close to that. I like Ratar-O but besides the figure being a bit light, I was a little disappointed that Ratar-O’s weight as a figure does not represent his weight in the cartoon.

To be honest I prefer lighter figures. Sometimes the heavier ones have problems standing.
