今回もご覧いただき誠にありがとうございます。
当店の看板バイクであるXLH883。今回はクラッチの不具合でレッカーしました。
クラッチの切れ具合が急に悪くなり、ニュートラルも入らなくなってしまったとのこと。
一度当店によってもらい、遊びの調整を行ったのですが、しばらく走るとすぐにまた症状が戻ってしまったとのこと。そうなると、おそらく内部の不具合かなと。
そんなわけでクラッチ周りを分解してみると、クラッチのレリーズベアリングが壊れていました。
このパーツはけっこう壊れやすい部分です。
今回はついでにＶＰクラッチを取り付けました。
VＰクラッチはレバーが軽くなるだけではなく、クラッチのストロークが長くなるので、クラッチの調整がしやすくなります。さらには2000回転以上になると、ノーマルに比べてクラッチの圧力が約20％アップする強化クラッチでもあります。

This time we towed the XLH883, one of our signature bikes, due to a clutch problem.
The clutch was suddenly not disengaging properly and would not go into neutral.
We had him come to our store to adjust the play, but after a while, the symptoms came back again. So, we thought it was probably an internal problem.
So, I disassembled the clutch and found that the clutch release bearing was broken.
This part is quite fragile.
This time, I installed a VP clutch as well.
The VP clutch not only makes the lever lighter, but also makes the clutch stroke longer, making it easier to adjust the clutch. Furthermore, it is also a reinforced clutch that increases the clutch pressure by about 20% compared to the normal clutch when the RPM is over 2000.

I hate those riveted clutch spring plates .. When they go bad, they cause so much trouble. I usually get rid of them by adding an extra fiber and steel plate...

動画拝見させて頂きました。質問なのですが、スポーツスターにVPクラッチをつける際 削り加工が必要とよく書き込み等で見ますが、こちらのVPクラッチは無加工で取付されているのでしょうか？ ご教授お願い致します。

昔のタイプは加工が必要でしたが、現行のものは無加工で取り付け可能です👍

@@user-bh7mv1dv8m 91年は無理です❌ プライマリーカバーを94年モデル以降のものに交換すれば取り付け可能です。
