Hi, I am currently a SUNY Student and I don't understand without I94 how would they have attended the classes ?? Because there is a hold that stops you from registering the classes unless you upload the I94 .There is a certain loophole here

Hello, I’m also in UB, we can attend classes without uploading I94, I94 is uploaded on the ISS holds which isn’t connected to myUB Hub holds.

Not true , the requirement is compulsory for every uni, they had 1 month to just upload a pdf. Though they had the passport number , they don't have the right to access the number , it's considered a violation of privacy
A simple phone call from the university's end would have helped these students. But it seems the university doesn't actually care about their students.

@@suneetchincholkar9021 It's definitely the students fault as well, but I mean if the college administration is interacting with them (the registrar's office and whatnot) almost everyday they could have just told ONCE... After all these students are literally paying more than 150K USD in tution.

Happened to my flatmate at SJSU. He is back in India now. His lawyer says he doesn't need to get a new visa tho.

UB has extremely high work load, not good if you are looking for jobs as you need time to prepare for coding round.

Man, you should have covered 'Operation Optical Illusion' by DHS which has targeted many Indian students on fake job in OPT. This will help future Indian Students
I am a SUNY grad myself, I cannot understand how they were allowed to attend classes, during my time a hold used to be put on our accounts unless we submitted I 94, also it's untenable that they did not get communication , the office of international affairs always used to send mails if any documents were missing
