We bought an 18' model 1100 and really enjoy it. The motor lasted about 8 years and the fabric about 12. We removed the motor and it is really easy to manually open and close without fighting against the gears. I am now replacing the fabric. I feel SUNSETTER is way overpriced. We paid double for not shopping around.

How do you unlock the elbow on the motorized Awning

The remote on this system is HORRIBLE. I cannot reset the remote. I called Customer service and they did not return the call. I tried numerous youtube videos and am still only using the manual crank. I am glad that it works manually. I wish they would stand by their $2,000 plus system.
