Glasgow definitely deserves more credit than it gets, amazing city

Agree completely. Awesome city.

As a proud glaswegian it gives me no joy to this but the regeneration of the Clyde has been a mismanaged mess resulting in a totally disjointed cityscape of stand alone buildings adrift in a dispiriting public realm defined by crap connectivity and the dominance of wasteland and surface car parks. And re: the pace of change in the city centre, surely it says it all that in reference to the city centre's 'changing skyline', she has to fall back on an advertising hoarding, put up to beautify a derelict 60s eyesore. The city is being left in the dust of UK comparitors never mind continental cities and the lack of investment, ambition, vision, urgency seems to be totally chronic.
