I think the main reason that sundrop is more dull colored and pupil-less in the other two animations is that since the game mostly takes place at night it's colder in pizza place so Sundrop has only partly transitioned to Moondrop

They're the same animatronic, but no one questions the change in colors on metal or the change in patterns on their fabrics? Is there some person that just dresses them up or do they change outfits like they show off their sun fins? Ig it can be different here since it's AR so there's a lot more room for individual creativity, i need to look back on the trailer to see their official outfit and see if it changes or if it fits both palettes.

What if there was a daylight sensor planted on him somewhere, and when it senses that it's dark it'll react, like how that one doll, I think a Barbie, can change its colour once touching water? I don't know I can't understand myself either.

I love the detail with the sounds and textures, the bells are such a nice little touch with the sound.

I like to think that Moons existence is designed as literal security, basically after Vanessa leaves she would power down the last area in the Megaplex and Aka the daycare before she leaves leading to moon basically to traverse the entire building while the other animatronics stay safe hidden away in their rooms.

We see Moondrop incapacitate Freddy as a security measure after he's accused of helping Gregory. So it would fit if he was able to protect the Megaplex, and or protecting the toddlers/small children if their is an emergency situation

the 2nd sunrise is really good

This is so cool. I love how the designs are based on characters from folk tales or fables as bedtime stories for kids. In a way its kind of based on how despite it being read to kids, bed time stories are actually terrifying. I mean I assume that's what inspired the design here. I also like how they both resemble jesters. The moons behavior also resembles a portral of a cartoon character quietly sneaking. And the sun resembles a fun and lively jester while also being quiet at the same time.

Yeah, I also love how they’re ball jointed! Instead of the giant, robotic bulkiness that the other animatronics have, Sun and Moon feel very doll-like, plus they remind me of contortionists and that’s a whole other level of spooky.

All the sun animations are so flexible

here they look a lot more mechanical and animatronic, the short snip we got in the recent trailer makes them too fluid I feel like.
