I've been watching indian and European football since 2018 and I'm truly grateful and blessed that not only I witnessed the era of Messi and Ronaldo but SUNIL sir as well. It was the greatest time, the indian football might not be the same without you but thankyou for being the greatest player of all time. What an incredible journey you had sir, your individual efforts, the pain and dedication, hundreds of win alongside thousands of losses in the past, it was an absolute delight sir. Watching you play and making a place in the hearts of young players and fans, it was all incredible.

Even I disagree with people who say Messi and Ronaldo carried their national and club teams because if the goalkeeper doesn't stop the ball, the defense and midfield don't defend, don't pass the ball correctly then Messi and Ronaldo would have not won anything. I would say Sunil Chetri sir conducted himself as a model professional at all times, had great work ethic and in these things, he is an excellent role model. But no one player carries a team in football.
