Choi says he would like to encourage the audience with the song, "I Pray". The song was written based on his difficult past in his early life. Choi says he would like to embrace the discouraged hearts through his song, "I Pray", and he hopes everyone will feel comforted after listening to his song.
짧은 말로는 설명하기 어려울정도로 힘든 시절들을 겪어 왔던 최성봉이 가장 낮은 자리에서 건네는 위로의 메시지인 “I Pray"는 크고 작은 일들로 상심해있는 마음들을 감싸 안아주는 진정한 힐링송이다.
Choi refers to a quote in the song based on the Chinese idiom, 春來不似春(pronounced Chun Lai Bu Si Chun in Chinese) which means that although spring is arriving, it does not feel like spring when we are enshrouded in the cold and gloomy reality. This can be found in the lyrics below:

I met a Korean lady tonight here in the Seattle area and she said he has been fighting several cancers. I looked it up… It doesn’t seem good.

@@grammichal6759 I just read that he has several ongoing medical issues, rhinitis and other problems. I suppose that this is a result of his early life and living on the streets. I hope that he manages to overcome yet another problem and shine.

I remember being inspired by his singing 😢❤. This is SAD because I subscribed… after hearing his first audition. I pray he finally received grace and eternal rest. He apologized for his mistake and that’s a lot more than others ever do. 🙇🏻♀️🙏🏽

Personally, I suppose it was not his mistake but somebody else used his fame and forced him to do it, and he couldn't tell anybody else. The sad thing is he was totally alone.

trinvh to hear him sing i. English would be nice, but singing in his God given, born native language is absolutely beautiful. We all have different cultures and ways to speak, but he went through so much sadness and pain, iam sure others have as well, but being and keeping true to himself is what makes him truly even more special, and I feel it shows some others the beauty in why we weren't all made the same, If the subtitles weren't on in English, I can still feel the type of emotions through him singing. happy for him.

When I feel lonely, especially in college. Far away from California while I'm in Virginia, I listen to this song. It reminds me that no matter where I go or where I am. God is with you and I; never departed from each other. Keep living and pray to God for good things to happen. (DON'T EVER GIVE UP) :)
