I feel like I've seen people do this before, and they didn't know why.

I have this, I used to have around 400-600 seizures a day, and all drugs did was give me reactions. I tried cranial sacral therapy and neuro plasticity and now I rarely have seizures ( they longest I’ve gone was about 3 weeks!)

I'm so sorry you went through that. Sadly, both the teasing and the clueless doctors are all too common. Tell everyone (especially doctors) to check out SunflowerSyndrome.com. And for you and your family, there's a helpful Facebook group called "Sunflower Syndrome - Photosensitive Epilepsy Peer Support" you will find many sympathetic people there!

Agreed. It's even worse because too few people understand the background information on SS. I have a younger cousin who suffers from SS whom I am a full-time caretaker for.

He enjoys long walks along a lightly wooded trail and at times when the sunlight is at it's brightest is when he experiences the handwaving episodes at their strongest where I'm often intervening to prevent him from colliding with cyclists, trees/hills or other trail walkers.
