Sunex Tools 1/4 Drive Magnetic Impact Sockets - Talking Hands Tools Review

Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль

We're checking out another socket set from Sunex Tools this week, the 1/4" Drive Magnetic Impact Sockets. I really like these sockets - they're great for the price and you can never have too many socket sets around, right? Check it out and let me know what you think.

I'd love to see a socket completely magnetized... There are some screws and bolts that can only be reached by feel in my car... And if the entire socket was magnetized it would help for it to auto locate and hold to the head of the screw or bolt... I believe you can either have your sockets magnetized or you can do it yourself...? Not sure... Thanks!

I'm not sure you would be able to magnetize a socket enough to hold nuts or bolts. You may be able to purchase magnets and try to modify a socket with them.

How’s the set holding up?? also have you found yourself using it more since you bought it? I’m just wondering it’s affective ness and if it’s worth it for 78 bucks?

I do like them and have been going for them when I am in those tough to reach spots. They have been holding up well but to be honest I haven't heavily used them with my impact yet.

How's the magnet strength on the small ones?

It's not bad, I haven't really had any problems. If the fasteners are really long, you start noticing some quirks but normal fastener lengths they are pretty good.
