They count all season ticket holders in the attendance regardless of whether they show up or not. 40,000 attendance means 40,000 tickets were sold

Neil and eqwah changed the game when they went off adil was superb in his work rate but the slow starts are killing us we dont seem to wake up until were scored against.

I wish we’d start games the way we seem to finish them. Poor first 20 minutes but could have been 3 or 4-0 down if it wasn’t for Patto. Rigg 💯 MOTM. Thought Jobe looked better playing at CM when Ekwah went off. If we play like we did in the second half on Saturday I fancy us down Southampton. O’Nien out for 2 games, probably needs a rest anyway.

Agree with all this, jobe looked much better.

After a pretty poor 1st half performance i was more pleased and proud of the lads in the 2nd half cos for once in ages they actually showed some fight and spirit and because of that were unlucky not to get something from the game, special mention for Rigg i thought the lad did really well, a few errors here and there but for majority of the game he was the only one trying to get on the ball and make things happen and drying us forward with forward thinking passing, also special mention for Aouchiche, i was starting to give up on him but that was probably the best he's played in a Sunderland shirt, when he came on he showed glimpses of what he can do and added that creativity we were lacking for majority of the game, however despite the encouraging 2nd half there is still major problems and worries going forward, we're lacking quality in the final third and also aside from 2 decent long range efforts from Hume and 1 Aouchiche free kick we never really looked like scoring and that's been a common theme recently, we're just so toothless and clueless in the final third, yes more performances like the 2nd half for a full 90 will help but we really need to try and change the way we play going forward cos I'm still worried about where the goals are gonna come from and it tells u something when a 16 year old lad and a full back are the only ones from the starting 11 that looked like doing something and finally Dodd's needs to stop this 3 at the back cos it's an absolute mess, 1st half everyone was all over the place, it's time to go back to a 4-2-3-1 or 4-3-3, we need goals and we need to create more not trying to keep the score down cos in reality that's what's Dodds did he set us up to try not get embarrassed and it massively backfired in the first half

@@GILESY1973 that's it mate, if Dodd's had set us up with more creativity and a different system then we might of got something from the game with a 90 minute performance, I don't want to go in to hard on Dodd's but he really needs to get his act together cos at the moment he's approaching games far to negative and still leaves his subs to late, Rusyn and Styles should of come on 10-15 minutes earlier and Aouchiche should've come on at half time cos we were crying out for more creativity

@@johnwilliam1945 Speakman definitely has some influence over the team, especially with Jobe playing all the time, they don't care about results or anything like that, they want Jobe playing as much as possible regardless whether he performs or not so that his value goes up and gets a big move away as soon as possible, IMO the best Jobe will get is probably a move to Galatasaray at some point cos yeah the lad has got something about him but let's be real he's not that good and IMO he'll never be as good as his brother

Chris Rigg needs to move into the first team full time!! everything he did was positive and always forwards he way also putting himself about in tackles making the senior players look pathetic! I will say it again that 4th left back from leeds doesnt get near the squad when cirken is half fit... the only thing he was picking out was the bob stokoe statue outside! not sure if anyone noticed but that will be a 2 game suspension for Luke O9... ill be interested to see how seelt and ballard get on at the back...

I think Leicester City was a poor team for top of the league really poor Sunderland played well in the second half but the strikers haven’t scored a game. You got two wingers who can’t cross a ball in the box for the strikers will renew the season tickets next season or will there be waiting to see what’s gonna happen to the club And see who’s gonna be the new manager who would work with the owners and the sporting director no good manager would I wouldn’t work with him and yes Man will rumours going around Scott Parker could be the new manager but we’ll just have to wait-and-see in the summer what happens to the club, and be the new manager
