Sundays at the Chateau: INTERVIEW WITH MUMMY!

Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль

This Sunday I'm interviewing...MUMMY! As we had such difficulty making a live video last time, I thought this would be a nice way to keep the informality of a chat, with the knowledge that I'll be able to upload it properly for you all! I've used the questions that I use to interview the other members of the chateau on my Patreon videos, and I discovered things about my own mother that I never knew! So thank you all for inspiring me to sit down and chat with her, using questions that scratch beneath the surface...
Escape to the chateau with ’The Chateau Diaries’ 🏰
In 'Sundays at the Chateau', chatelaine Stephanie answers all your questions about life in the 16th century Chateau de Lalande, and introduces you to the cultural and gastronomic treasures of France ❤️
A very special thank you to all of you who have become Patrons of the Chateau de Lalande. You have made The Chateau Diaries one of the top 1000 Patreon accounts in the world, and have transformed not only out lives here, but the future of this beautiful chateau! I’m overwhelmed by your kindness and generosity. On behalf of this beautiful chateau that will continue to survive and flourish because of you, thank you!!!

Oh my .....what a touching interview.....as a nurse who worked in long term care - Alzheimer’s / Dementia care for 21 yrs - I totally understand when Isobel states “.....The need to do the job properly - stays with you.....”. Purpose in life : “.......To do good in Life....and if you cannot - then to certainly do no harm . Tread lightly and leave no turbulence”. Jeez.....words this entire world could and perhaps should pay attention to - especially in times like now. Thank you for this interview - so cherished indeed!🌹🌼🌈

Yes, life is so short. Isabelle is fierce & fascinating! This would be great as a series: "Mummy Moments." Love it when she scolds! She could even give some gardening tips. Maybe have your viewers write in their questions too. The segments doesn't have to be long. Would just love to learn more about what contributed to her being the wonderful💐woman she is today. 📹 Wish I had been able to interview my parents while they were alive😭. I had to smile at the story about Stephanie going off to Grandma's in France and not turning around to wave goodbye to Mummy and Daddy. My daughters at the young ages of eleven and twelve boarded Air Canada bound for the UK to visit their aunt and uncle. I'll never forget them walking away hand in hand with the stewardess with both their Daddy and I willing them to turn around for a fond farewell. Nope. Off they went without a second thought of us watching our babies leave on their first 'big girl' trip abroad. When they returned two weeks later, our babies were gone and noticeably eager to find their way slightly less dependent on us and delightful citizens on the world. Thank you for this time together.

Stephanie, this interview with your mother was so fascinating and so beautiful! No, surprise about some of the answers. I knew that Isabelle was an intelligent, talented, lovable human being. But also a hard taskmaster! I love to listen to her French accent. So happy that Isabelle found love, the second time in her life. Blessings to all at La Lande!
