Welcome to Düsseldorf, a city full of surprises and hidden gems. Düsseldorf is known for its fashion industry and is home to some of the world's most famous fashion brands. This city is also famous for its beer, with over 300 different types of beer brewed here.
Starting in Altstadt (Old Town), I walk through the narrow streets, discover the city's culture, the beautiful architecture and the vibrant street art. My next stop is Burgplatz, a historic square in Düsseldorf. It's known for its iconic Castle Tower, St. Lambertus Church, the bridges Rheinkniebrücke and Oberkassel Bridge, and Schifffahrtmuseum. From here, I continue my walk to Marktplatz, where located Rathaus (City Hall) and the statue of Jan Wellem, a famous historical figure in Dusseldorf. Then I walk the Rheinuferpromenade with stunning views of the Rhine River and the city skyline. I pass a street musician and a group of people dancing together. My final destination is Medienhafen (Media Habor). It's a dynamic harbor district and Düsseldorf's most spectacular urban revitalization project.
