Sunday brunches at most hotels in Hyderabad are an opulent, indulgent affair with an endless stream of food and beverage. While people staying at Cyberabad are often spoilt for choice, Marriott Hotel & Convention Centre has long been the only option for people staying in the older parts of the city. Marriott Hyderabad, which recently turned ten, has revamped its Sunday brunch to make it more lively and more personal, and I was invited to experience their revamped brunch.
I got a chance to be hosted by Master Chef Prakash Patil, who happens to be from Mumbai & obviously a food lover. I have thrown an idea of taking me through the entire Sunday brunch Menu which he & his team curated to all the palates. To my happiness, he gladly agreed & took us through the entire buffet.

The Sunday Brunch is hosted at Okra - the all-day diner. The brunch is spread out across the restaurant as well as the outdoor poolside. Through a diverse array of live counters, Marriott hopes to make the brunch more interactive and interesting. I spotted over half a dozen live counters dishing out an eclectic mix of delicacies with a live band playing in the background which makes it a more fun experience.
The first counter to catch my fancy was the 'Shegadi' which is a live counter that was serving up the types of meat & fish dishes, then we had Boti paratha, popular street-food like chat. Then we head to the live Dosa station that offers a variety of dosas. After that, we went inside for the full menu which is simply endless. It's a must-watch video for the Sunday Brunch lover.
