A sunny afternoon in Cornwall, so I headed out to the Bodmin Railway for my first visit there in over 10 years. Sun, steam engines and Cornish Cream tea... what else could you want?
Out in steam for the day was GWR 4575 Small Prairie Tank No. 5552, but all other steam locomotives were tucked away in the sheds. Class 50 50042 (D442) was visible in the sidings just down from the shed running towards Bodmin Parkway, class 47 47306 (D1787) and class 37 37142 (D6842) were both visible from Bodmin General parked up in the sheds with the class 37 under repair.
I managed to get video of the journey from Bodmin General to Bodmin Parkway where it shares a mainline station that I've uploaded separately. Watch out for the return journey where I get hit by a tree while filming.

That's why you should always look out for obstacles like a tree branch, and then duck your head in, so you don't get hit. Glad you enjoyed yourself.

I was stood next to the window and just holding on to my gimble when it caught me. If I was right out the window it would have really caught me. No damage done though.
