Hardware Kit amzn.to/2zoJmW6 - this kit doesn't include the wire or clamps. You'll need to purchase the correct length based on your installation design.

Thank you very much for taking the time to publish your video. Your video gave me some ideas of what to purchase to setup my sail shades. To the negative comments, I would like to see their videos. Talk is cheap, doing is inspiring.

Nice hardware option review. Your 4x4 post looks good, and so does the whole whimsical backyard area.

Could you please tell me what I should be searching for to find a business that’s able to install posts for me? I’m having a difficult time finding one. Thank you

Allen - I would try one of these: a handyman (I installed my posts and my neighbors posts look like the work of a handyman), a contractor that builds decks or fences, or if you want metal posts maybe someone who installs flagpoles. Best of luck!

Speaking of hardware... let’s talk about how you’re using 1.5” screws into a 2x6 to anchor these? Lol.

How do you know the length of the screws?

Brighton's Reviews and More I mean... if you’re using a larger screw than that in a 2x6”... what are you doing anyway? Lol. Minimally, these should be anchored with bolts, lock washers & nuts. Even without accounting for storms / wind. 🤷🏻‍♂️

@@victorvek5227 you can use lag eye bolts directly through fascia into rafters and get the same result. As far as wood posts, 4x6 would be a much sturdier option with 6x6 being perfect.

@@coolwiz7994 he’s clearly not using lag bolts though, hence my original comment.

@@victorvek5227 yes I know. Just a bit of advice. Those pad eyes will pull out soon enough. First he needs bigger posts. Then a 4 inch eye bolt. Drill a pre hole and use a screwdriver to turn it in as far as it can go. It's easy and get this; less expensive. Oh well. He will learn a tough lesson.
