In Western astrology I'm a Sagittarius, and I was dubious that I fit Scorpio. However, after this video, I can see it. I enjoy research, and my dad was an industrial engineer for the government. My Mars is in Libra, third house, and Dad treated me fairly. In Vedic astrology I have Saturn, Mercury, Sun, and Rahu in Scorpio, fourth house. Leo Moon and ascendent.Thanks for doing these videos.

Yes it was the same for me, my birthday is on 22th of November so I never knew if I was a Sagittarius or Scorpio in western astrology. But in Vedic I have Sun and mercury in scorpio but also Leo moon, rahu and ascendant (the Leo moon I have in both). But I get what you mean, sometimes you just have a feeling.

In the western system I used to have Sun in Aries & Moon in Scorpio which described it pretty well but switching to Vedic I am a Moon in Libra 19:33 (Swati-4). Another thing that constantly amazes me is the strength and speed of this brain inside my skull! I am a student of engineering. Throughout my life I have been covering subjects for my exams in a tiny fraction of the time my classmates need. Like a day of studying compared to a whole week or more (yes, I am a bit of a last minute person!)

this did clear up some questions i had about my scorpio/dragon self thank you.

Since you have a Taurus Ascendant, you will be attracted to Scorpio because Scorpio is the opposite sign of Taurus. If you look at an Astrological wheel, the sign on the other side of Taurus is Scorpio. Your 7th House is Scorpio and the 7th House represents the kind of partner you will be attracted to. Scorpio stellium with sagittarius in mars and pisces rising. Have the Same here, my father was also neglectful and whenever I wanted to take part in events with him or help him out he always pushed me away and said he was too busy for me. Always was jealous of me or challenged me when I succeed in something he didn't. But I grew out of it and learned things without his help and succeeded in things he didn't which brought even more friction.

Things at home are more or less 'normal'...but my mother usually keeps herself engrossed in the past that leads to unpredictable behaviour(mood-swings) at times..she mainly remains dissatisfied with the decisions(especially financial) that my father has taken...she is quite disease prone too..had a liver transplant recently..my relationship with mother is great(she too has moon in pisces). She loves, understands me more than anyone else.

Compare your placements to other people who share them. Astrology is ruled by aquarius/Saturn which this tells us that to get the most out if astrology you have to judge/test a placement by seeing what traits show from multiple people sharing the same placement rather than judging a placement on self(Leo)

Kapiel, here is something that I very frustrated about. I am a Gemini Ascendandant with Ketu in 1st house Saturn in 8th in Capricorn Mars in 9th and Venus and Mercury in 10th in Pisces. Even though the sun in aries describes me pretty well, I feel that Scorpio sun also describes me pretty well too :/ I am extremely secretive, dont trust what people say and deeply interested in all things Scorpio (esoteric, meditation). I have no planets at all in Scorpio in Vedic system yet all this darkness..

Hey I have a question. Okay so I usually follow western astrology, but I have recently started considering sidereal astrology as well. In western my sun is at 1° sagittarius, so obviously in sidereal I am a scorpio. But my question is, does the sun also move backwards one house? Like for example, in western, my sun is in the 5tf house, so does that mean in sidereal my sun is in the 4th house?
