Great video, I always wondered what the hormonal stage looked like, well you just enjoy those springtime birds now. 😂 My time will come, probably next year, as going into winter here and their not old enough yet, I’m safe for now. 🤣🤣 yup Sam the ladies man! My window loving creeper hahaha and thanks my husband actually came home and freaked out asking why I’d buy that toy when I could MAKE it!! I enjoyed telling him it only cost $100 but I was kidding I really did make it for free.

Aw thanks so much! It’s a lot of time and dedication but they’re worth it. My relationship with my parrots is 100% more amazing because of Jamie!!

I think a Sun conure(s) would DEFINITELY drive me insane! Those little screeches are hard to handle. However, they do look cool. ;)

U n I we love our sun conure, I have a 6 years old, but I got him in a pet store at 5 months old love at 1st sight, I agree is discussing seeing them down there chewing on the wood hope is not gonna make em sick love them.

Nope chewing on wood is a natural foraging and beak filer! It’s important to give them toys they can destroy :) thanks for watching !

Im on a Facebook page & someone said if the leg tag is on the right its a boy or left its a girl- totally don't agree xx😮

Many bird species are actually sexually dimorphic and have very clear differences. All of my birds have specific markings that make it clear which sex they are. My Pacific Parrotlet has the blue wings and “eye shadow” of the male. And I have one budgie who is male because he has a blue cere, and one who is female because she has a brown cere. Female house finches are a completely different shade (brown) from male house finches (red), and the list goes on and on. In fact it’s birds that are used as the example by most people of how males are more colorful and showy than females in nature

Yes so true! I just meant of my specific types of birds, you can’t see any distinctive differences.

Archie’s been worse than ever this year 😫 he’s not too bitey or loud but I’ve had to deal with him getting into corners and boxes and trying to feed random things every 5 minutes!

Yes! Last year when we took him to the vet. His gender reveal wasn’t as grand 🤣

Don't want to burst your bubble but I've been told that those egg crates could contain salmonella since they had eggs in them before. 😒

If they are clean there’s nothing to worry about, plus salmonella only lives on surfaces for 4 hours.

Ok thanks for letting me know! Yeah I didn’t see any broken eggs in my box but that’s not to say it didn’t happen elsewhere, I can try sunlight and ACV spray maybe.

People are always over emphasizing the “toxic” thing with birds. Did you know that avocado, for instance, won’t instantly kill a bird the millisecond it touches the bird like so many are led to believe? That it’s actually just too fattening because super oily, so should be avoided? Maybe she washed the egg crates. People need to really just take it down a notch or two with the constant advice
