Finally, here is my new video dear friends. Well, it's been a while since I made one, but better ever than never. The video is for one of the best Summoning songs of all time imo. Honestly, I had the intent to make a video for this haunting song a few years ago, but every time I wanted to do something its length made me cringe. Also, I didn't want it to be an average thing in any way. After all, this is a grand opus type of song and this video had to be something special. Nonetheless, the will wasn't lacking, it was all about the right creative moment. So, I played for some time already with various ideas (some animated, some not), but in the end it all came to this; a simple, yet powerful depiction of "the land of the dead" in combination with fiery elements. The video itself symbolizes two things. The first thing is a constant flow of energy in nature, an endless life. Yeah, I think the life is endless and death is not the end - it is a transformation of energy; a rebirth in different form. So, the second thing is fire, which represents that rebirth in a similar fashion like Phoenix. But, enough with philosophy, I'm sure many of you won't read this anyway :) The video is what matters and I hope you'll like it. In the end, I just want to once again express my gratitude to all these good people who made this wonderful shots because without their brilliance this video couldn't be possible.
PS: This is not the animated video I've been working on for the past few years, that one is still in the making...

They mean everything to me and it has changed my mind in a really special and pure way. Thank you for making Summoning more great than ever with this video.

I watched every vid regarding this song. You, Sir, you are outstanding, your work is oberwhelming! As an Austrian, as a fellow from Vienna, I know Protector from Summoning personally. If I would show him this Vid, he would love it. I hope, there will come more from you! You make Summoning greater than it already is!

well thank you for kind words! I love Summoning's music so much that no other band can compare to them. they inspire me artistically in multiple ways (drawing, writing, video editing, etc.) and that's why I give my best when making these videos at my channel. glad you love this particular video and it's nice to hear that Protector would love it too. I've made two videos recently, one is animated (The Darkening of Valinor), you should check those too. also, I was in Vienna last month, pity you didn't send this comment earlier, we could drink a beer with Protector if possible. anyway, cheers and send my regards to Protector and Silenius!

This song is what got me into Summoning and opened me up to new genres ( atmospheric bm, dungeon synth, post-black metal etc.) Hails!
Believe it or not, this is one of the first songs my wife sent me through the Internet. I've been with her for 14 years.

This is just beautiful. Thank you. You opened up a whole new meaning of this track to me. Before that it didn't consciously notice how picturesque it is.

Now that I've seen all your videos, I would say this is the best. The B/W really brings the right mood to the pictures and the clips itself where great as allways. Besides this I think your videos give even more depth to the work of Summoning. man hört eindeutig, dass er "sight" singt und außerdem was soll "sigh profound" bitte bedeuten? "a sight profound" würde ich als "eine tiefe/tiefgründige/tiefgreifende Einsicht" übersetzen. aber vielleicht hast du ja Recht, wenn ja klär mich auf :D
