god the compression on youtube for games like dayz with a bunch of grass is the worst shit in the world. 1080p60fps but you still can see each pixel in the grass its so bad it gives me a headache lmao

It's more the low bitrate it has to be streamed at in the first place (twitch having a limit of around 5000-6000kbps). High detail scenes like dayz or any game with a lot of textures suffer the worst but yeah having to compress it again and then subject it to youtube's compression only makes it worse

I've been playing dayz for 4 years big content creators never ACTUALLY play dayz theyll "play" it for a stream or to. But i have yet to see a big content creator play a full wipe and document it

Imagine, an MMORPG, but MMORPG/FPS.... game has full open world pvp, a dynamic inventory system similar to this game and tarkov but "better". sci-fi though, so you can have energy weapons aka pve weapons and then physical weapons for pvp. any loot that you "secure" by getting back to the main town cannot be looted upon death, but anything you loot before you "secure it" will full drop when killed both pvp and pve. you can find both energy weapons and physical weapons throughout the world, with different stats and attachments. but there wouldn't just be the open world part of the game, there would be battlegrounds, battle royal, as modes that you can "queue" for just like any other multiplayer or battle royal game. and it would be huge. a giant planet. using new server technology it would be one giant game server for everyone to play on (except for instanced battles like battle royal). it would be the best game ever made, but it will never happen because game dev companies don't hire idea men and women to think this shit out for them, its run by corporate pussies who push deadlines forward and ruin games. got two whole games in my head, sci-fi mmorpg/fps and a classic fantasy mmorpg, that will NEVER see the light of day. because these mainstream companies just do not fucking care.
