100% feel this shit. Tarkov has become so laden with tedious bullshit its unreal. I no-lifed this game hard over the entire pandemic, the only reason I got good was from good teammates and not having a job lmao. As the game became popular it began to decline, cheaters swamped the servers, RMT was everywhere, and suddenly the restrictions came down from up high: gamma item restrictions, item limit per raid, flea market captcha, run-through status, tagged and cursed, key drop deletion, no mags/expensive scopes or NVGS in gamma, etc. Some of these were necessary changes, but it always seemed like these should be temporary until the underling issues were solved, never happened, more and more restrictions keep stacking on and made simple tasks like getting your friend to finish a keylocked quest such a pain in the ass "i cant drop you the key or its deleted, so I need to survive to open the door for you". Hell now you can be potentially banned for dropping gear for a friend after he dies. Meanwhile the cheaters stay 5 steps ahead of the devs at all times, never gone, finding ways around the restrictions and the main playerbase suffers because of it. The game simply doesn't function on a competent level for such a hardcore PVP based experience. Netcode is horrible, good players quickly realize sprinting through a corner is always an advantage over someone holding said corner, they simply cant react due to latency and almost always die. The game went from moonwalking no weight ADAD spam to trudging through fucking syrup with inertia, its never been done right and absolutely punishes you for playing the game, "ive been looting for 25 min and now i suck at everything" yeah thats awesome. You cant peak a corner at all without a grenade toss for cover, or abusing sprint to dash across a hallway infinitely since the netcode basically makes the enemy see your after image. On the topic of the playerbase, it has gone downhill FAST, a large portion abuses everything they can, any exploit that gives them an edge they will do. Alternating bullets in their mags to confuse the server and lag their target, running undetectable radar software, peaking through the map where possible, and what i think is most common of all, screen stretching, blowing up their resolution so their FOV looks like theyre using a 2-3X magnified optic at all times. Its undetectable and makes your head the size of a fucking half dollar. You have definitely been killed by stretched res gamers dozens of times. The game has been very successful and popular for 3+ years now, why does it take 10+ min to find a raid? I understand wipe time strains the servers, but this has been a constant occurrence for like 10 fucking wipes, make your game playable, people spend half their night in the stash or waiting in matchmaking, its utterly insane this hasn't been resolved thus far. Let people queue and mess with their hideout, stash, and traders at the very least. The down time is massive for a potential 2 min match. Dark and Darker has people in games in under a minute playing. There is no viable excuse at this point. Your AI is the most uninteresting and abysmal aspect of Tarkov, it is so fundamentally lazy in its design and has been since day one. A fucking scav 50-100 meters away should not instantly start shooting me the moment it can draw a projectile path to me. I should be able to peak out of a small vision slit or window without instantly being shot at. This bum ass AI design punishes you for even looking out for info, and this wipe the scavs are the most deadly they've ever been, extreme accuracy from insane distance. And the fact that they only need a clear projectile path and not a clear line of sight is especially fucking stupid, dusting me through tall grass and bushes even though I cant see them does not make me want to interact with PVE in your game. Scavs should be moving towards cover with some proper concealment animations and effort put in to make them seem part of the environment, fucking FALLOUT 76 has enemies that will sprint to cover with proper animations and fire at you from concealment, there is no excuse that your scavs just yell some gibberish and begin a 50 meter strafe until you finally headshot them. They should be a feature that makes the world believable, you should find them digging through trash, opening containers, sitting around fire barrels, sitting on a blown up T90, with actual animations. You put so much effort into dozens of animations for every individual firearm, you cant devote a day with an employee and a mo-cap suit? Raiders, Cultists, and Scav Bosses/guards are an absolute joke as well "theyre harder give them aimbot" really thats it? They should be surrounding you, suppressing you, tossing nades to flush you out, not LOS blocking you so youre forced to fight them up close. Nobody has fights with your elite AI, they lead them around corners and blow them away before the aimbot kicks in, or throws a nade and force them into a 10 second sprint through the open. Half the time they see you and instantly prone while blowing your head off. Also massive portions of the map are entirely devoid of scavs, woods should have them roaming all over the place, why have one of your biggest maps so empty? It just forces all the players to 3 locations to complete tasks, so you might as well just make the map the size of those areas and skip the rest. Some people dont want to be forced into constant PVP because they need scav kills. Fuck I could go on and on about this game, it could be so damn good, in some ways it is, but the lack of improvement over my duration of playing Tarkov has completely destroyed my desire to play. TLDR: Tarkov is a chore that requires unemployment to actually succeed in.

Just saying that cheaters, RMT, run throughs were all a part of the game since pre-alpha. Cheaters were actually worse since they could literally no clip since there was actually no anti-cheat. In general though, I agree. They are mixing up hardcore with tedium. Making something tedious doesn't make it hardcore and you can have a hardcore game without making it tedious. Tarkov peaked when the flea+hideout was introduced and the patch after. This allowed you to be rewarded by selling anything you wanted on it. If you want to PVP, you sell the enemy gear and get rewarded. If you want to scavenge for items people need for the hideout like someone would in this environment, you'd get rewarded for it and you no longer needed to just W key insane locked room #50 to get money and it feels they are just pushing the game even further back towards that direction. Not mentioning how you need 50k roubles worth of medical supplies shoved up your arse just to play a raid without being screwed by one of the 15 new medical debuffs they add.

I feel this so hard , this game feels like work not like a game since this wipe .

@@adbrooks95 They tuned it some days ago (or weeks), It's definitely more consistent now with certain headsets. Directional still is putrid if you're using binaural audio, personally, turn it off.

lemme just do a quick strafe while i have 44 kgs worth of gear on me, 2 wipes ago he was complaining about he AD jiggle peeking, no he's complaining that he can't jiggle peek. Straight up died because he sprinted like an idiot in the building without waiting for his teammates to tell him their positions

They actually made it so you can go into a raid fully geared and not be overweight this wipe so IDK what he's talking about. Comparing it to other inertia wipes, this ones actually a lot easier Not to mention it's a game where your gun can jam mid fight, you can starve to death after an hour, and you get head, eyes by any scav feeling trigger happy... It's meant to be a hard game that you don't enjoy. You aren't suppose to win every gunfight, because not every gunfight outcome will be determined by skill. @@kokuokirai1103 Your first half of the comment made sense, the second didn't. It's still a videogame. People forget this. Videogames, even when challenging, are meant to be fun. Unless you don't mean for your game to be fun. For example, I personally don't like Dark Souls games or Elden Ring. A lot of people love those games. I feel, for me, I'm not really allowed to play the game due to its difficulty. However, the games are finished products (even with bugs on release) and the rules are clear. Each hit you receive is like a truck. And if you die twice you lose your souls. You are also going to die, a lot. It's also not meant to be a PVP game, even if it has PVP. EFT is (or was) a "hardcore extraction looter PVP FPS". So if you don't design your game around core points for the hardcore part, and skill based for the PVP FPS part, you're doing something wrong. This type of game has to have a clear "simple" design. It can be hard, but it has to be simple. This is a game that excels on repetition, making you go into raids every time. So you're already being repetitive, there shouldn't be any fear of being repetitive by simple (but fun and tight) design. If your AI scavs are headeyeing players all the time, then something is wrong. Scavs should be meant to upset you on the worst time, and scare you most of the time. Not one tap you like an aimbot. There's no fun in that, and there's no OUTPLAY. That is the key part. If there's no outplay you can do, then EVERYTHING ELSE goes out the window. Summit has made mistakes playing, but this time literally took a little peek and got smoked. Yesterday it was the clip of him holding an angle, and suddenly getting onetapped. Because that's another thing, if all the players were 100% legit, then maybe you could say one had made a bad play, but cheaters are rampant as well. And then the insane (ironically) too repetitive insane of a grind gameplay loop. The core idea of the game is very strong, one of the best, but the devs have strayed from it. Like they forget this is a beta. They're doing the live testing instead of focusing on releasing the product for a final stage.

While I listen to the complaints I see that he is playing SOT and I remember when he spent 5 hours hiding to steal a chest, I imagine that the reaction of those people must be similar.

No disrespect to Summit, but the complaining tirade happens every wipe. Hutch honestly said it best. If you go into a game ready to complain about it and find it’s flaws and rage, then there’s zero chance you’ll enjoy any aspects of it because all you’re doing is searching for a negative

@@kid_gen That's a heavy accusation. I'm sure he has got a competent IQ, Im not really a fan of his, as Im new to his content but I have a strong stupid radar and he dosen't strike me as dumb at all. The methodical, tactical Tarkov playstyle is not enjoyed by all people, intelligence isn't necessarily the reason. Some people might just enjoy the brawny aimgod playstyle, especially the kinds of players that like more traditional shooters. Alot of my friends are like this, and they never play past the first 2 weeks of wipe, but they aren't dumb, they just prefer a different style of game, and get tilted sometimes when they can't play Tarkov like COD.

I've watched this man stream since he had like 20 viewers playing CS GO Beta. He has *never* been the brightest light-bulb in the room. In terms of how Tarkov is *meant* to be played, you proved my point with your response. To make an equivalent statement, it'd be like saying "some people don't like to drive Ferraris fast." My answer is, then why drive a Ferari? Why play Tarkov if you're going to play like it's Call of Duty? You can do it, but if you do, you're being dumb. I don't know why that seems controversial to you. Summit - as most streamers - is most entertaining when he's being dumb, not when he's being the most amazing player in the world.

Peeking in Trakov is different. In hallways like this, you have to sprint the gap and tilt your head to the angle u want to peek. No other way to do it.

He probably would've still survived if he actually stopped moving and peaked the corner properly. Unless the guy was cracked or lucky he would've hit arm or leg, after he shoots, you have your info. Also didn't turn on his flashlight, the thing that makes you harder to hit and gives your brain information more quickly..

@@alar1en991 any faceit 3k elo + player would destroy top tarkov players, tier 1 is way higher than that. For comparison BakeeZy's highest elo was 2600. Game is objectively bad and there's not a lot of good players playing it and it got worse with movement inertia, casualized in a sense, to level the field between what you can actually do in the game to have better chances. Now it's all about decisions, gambles and positioning. Not much you can do to maximize your chances of success while in the motion of executing something. I hate it and I had 70kd after 15 winstreak on first 2 days of this wipe, last wipe 11kd on 300 matches and I always rush in hot spots and leave maps super late, Auto europe. I'm happy you like it but I'd rather have it my way so that I like it, how can this be so mind boggling to others

i skipped two wipes and came back this wipe and have been having lots of fun and good raids i think tarky just gives some people the tarkov treatment some wipes and theres good days and bad days to each is own though game can be as brutal as it gets though

I just started to play this wipe and that's so relatable lol. 1 day i killed 3 chads at resort with metaweapons, tagilla armor and a bunch of loot, so i went to tunnel extract slow walking due to overweight, and after like 20 mins that i finally reached the extract a camper tapped me. But today i killed two pmcs as a scav, looted their meta mutant and m4, their loot and in the stash near the exit i found a ledex, this game is a rollercoster of emotions rlly lol

Looting is a solid 75 percent of tark with the rest being a mix of pvp amongst other things. If you must drop ur backpack every time you want to loot a building that’s gonna make the game extremely boring. Dropping during combat is almost a necessity because if you’ve been looting you’re at a severe disadvantage and to play around inertia as much as possible you need to be lighter.

i've done the same exact thing. deleted everything and reset my account with 30m roubles at lvl 30. now im back at lvl 36 with 35m roubles (same wipe)

The whole point is realism. Think of the people he's tapped and not even thought about it and now starts moaning when he gets tapped back.

Also Jared if you see this, to fast peak a corner you have to stand by the corner, and peak by walking in a circle, your inertia doesn't stop you if you walk in a baby circle and just barely go far enough to look around the wall. Just wasd spam.

Never look where your gun in not pointed. Around every corner I peak with my gun ads ready to fire and come back. That's what I do in airsoft, that's what real soldiers do, that's how it is supposed to be in tarkov.

He's had plenty of time to get used to inertia with how long it's been in the game. It was rough when they added it, but hundreds of thousands of people got used to it, and adapted. Apparently he doesn't want to do that, and just wants to complain about how bad the game is instead.

My friend and I went ham last wipe on tarkov, and this wipe feels kinda meh tbh we played like 5 raids and decided to just wait until next wipe. All we got was a map that runs like ass(Granted streets is a really cool map just runs like buns), lightkeeper that was broken on release, a couple meh guns, and what like 2 new body armors lol. We'd rather wait a wipe or 2 and then experience a bunch of new stuff. btw to anyone that doesn't know like Summit, you can break inertia in your favor to shoulder peek by pressing "w" or "s" before un-peeking essentially doing a half circle with your character movement. You don't get the huge clunky feeling doing it that way like you do when just pressing opposite strafe key.

If he had enough time to ask him team if it was them, he had enough time not to overpeak, just absolute babyrage, i hate inertia too i have played 5.5k hours but it is absolutely not the reason that he died. Quite conveniently cut the part where he looted an armoured vest and put his weight to 40kg despite having 4 full mags and 100 spare bullets, with an already heavy rig. Really not that hard to have the foresight that if ur gonna push a building and ur weight is already 40kg you should drop ur bag, or even the vest inside (without animation) I don't think you need as many hours as me to know that carrying an extra 40kg before you push the most highly contested building on the map is fucking stupid.

late wipe items sell for different prices then early wipe. issue here is most of the time summit has played EFT was mid or late wipe. i think this is his first time playing day 1 wipe.

just for real info...that is not shoulder peak...unless he wanted to peak it with left shoulder :D

The other day Summit says he hasn’t gotten the hang of the game since inertia implementation. Well this is why lol He plays for a max of 3 weeks and quits, then comes back for the next wipe, rinse and repeat. You won’t get the hang of inertia and the subtle movements until you play for a couple months. Seems like he doesn’t have the patience for the game, which is what it is.

Bro, It's beginning of wipe, only been a week. Things boom in price mid wipe as everyone has money to afford things and are further with hideouts, tasks, etc.

Tarkov updates are always one step forward, two steps back. Many aspects of this game are worse than when I started playing years ago. It's especially sad because it is so self-inflicted.

when the game updates but takes 3 steps back, i feel you man, i quit 2 wipes ago. just cant do it anymore.

I quit last wipe because the straw that broke the camel’s back was a bug where all 3 of my docs cases full of good shoreline, customs, interchange and reserve keys were deleted when i got on the game

i agree, but i can at least understand what hes saying. im pretty decent at fps games with more traditional shooter mechanics (i.e. less recoil, higher ttk, and much smoother movement), yet i suck at tarkov pvp. love the maps, gear, looting etc aspects of tarkov a ton, but the movement and shooting mechanics, along with the advantage that shift w'ing and right peeking ppl gives you due to the insane desync, makes it unfun for me personally.

I feel the thing about peaking for info so hard. I like some of the inertia changes but it's made firefights feel like ass. Basically most firefights just boil down to two people hearing each other and going silent until one of them pushes. It's a rats game now. You push and you're dead, or you sit and wait and hope they push first.

@@markmack2746 To be fair though, guys like Will and Lvndmark (many others too), the “gigachad” streamers, are an EXTREME minority. Summit doesn’t even fit that profile as do majority of other streamers that play it. But his unwillingness to try and improve at fighting or enjoy the smaller victories will always make Tarkov a short term game for him

Lean peaking in this game breaks all the emersion that the devs are trying to create. They need to rework how the aim works so you can actually hold a hallway without being killed with almost zero indication of where its coming from. Same with being able to see and shoot through the crack of a door. All these things make the game unenjoyable to say the least.

Ask if he has a helmet but doesn't ask what floor he is on before entering the building

@@BroganAFhe aint wrong, the whole mechanic of you not being able to impact recoil control to an extent and relying on the level of your character is so flawed. I get the game being and rpg but still. The game is also plagued with cheaters n one of the worst de-sync I’ve seen in a game

I went back and tried it finally, and the inertia change for quick peaks really is super slow. I miss backpack stackin and going for insane loot too 😂 but I get why they are changing it. Hasn’t drawn me back fully but maybe when the game is fully released

@@NeekBCoolin the majority of tarkov players agree the inertia update was shit, it incentivizes camping in a corner as a combat style. You cant quick peek for info without dying even without a backpack its still so slow now, and they keep saying they want realism but a trained professional cant control a vector recoil yet a 12 year old boy can IRL, and your character cant quickly peek around a corner but IRL you can no issues.

@@zDemoGODz literally my exact thoughts. worst part of this for me is when he said "they cant even add intertia to circles" as if intertia isnt WHY the circle is so good now, when you keep moving its easy to move. its all about an objects tendency to stay in motion or at rest. its like he cant understand even irl when u stop moving with a full set of gear (or alot of weight) you need to put sum effort in to get moving opposite of your current momentum. such a simple concept. the way i see it is like wanting a driving game where the car is weightless because you keep spinning out trying to get ahead in a race, just learn to control it.

@@FantasticPat17 tbh i dont use the circle thing because competent players pre spray corners if they hear you ramping up speed for the circle peek. Before inertia jump peek was the way and still is.

I actually took my biggest backpack and filled it to the top with stuff i could find at home and then ran around my house with an airsoft rifle and i could clear corners in miliseconds so just because you have big backpack doesnt mean you cant move your upper body fast.

15 min queue to get sniped by a scav through every bush on the map seems very frequent this wipe.

I still want to see Sum try out Mauraders. Slower pace but it at least scratchs the extraction shooter itch

it been this way since before inertia. when they added the weight system before inertia it stopped being a game and became a simulation. i still play but the joy that was once there is gone.

This is exactly why I quit tarkov. My first wipe there was no inertia and I loved it. Second wipe they added inertia and game turned into dog shit. I really only play SOT nowadays. Most games suck balls now.

And he's back a day later like a true chad.

I think Tarkovs implementation of inertia was good. It stopped these jiggle-peeking e-sport players from using tactics that aren't real world tactics and frankly don't belong in a game like Tarkov. It's like saying that because Tekken is a popular game and they use the tactic Korean backdash, all fighting games must have Korean backdash. Tarkov is meant to emulate some of the real world, and I love the fact they are trying to emulate real movement for the most part. That said, I think at higher levels you should be able to corner peek faster. Beyond all of this, Summit complaining about this when Tarkov has massive issues with spawns, AI and SOUND... OMG, THE FUCKING SOUND! Those are the real issues.

They say realism… but my highly trained operator deployed in one of two of the most elite PMC companies in the world can’t run for more than 2 seconds with a full combat load early wipe. Doesn’t understand how to use the weapon he’s spent years using. And what did inertia change? It’s just even more important to get strength and endurance levels faster than the competition which high level players were already doing. Which leaves the noobs that never break level 20 in the exact same position they were always in and the good players are still destroying everyone but are significantly less satisfied with how they go about it.

I like that they added streets and got a hotfix out quickly, but I understand sumsums rage at the smallest things. I was happy go lucky, starting my wipe off, only to find out the mk.2 gas block or w/e it's called is now locked behind quest, prap doesn't sell 7.62 ps at LL1 anymore, I never got far into the hideout, but now the walls suck and I gotta mop? Just the small things kept dragging down my mood to wanna keep playing. I also don't know if it's just me but the audio feels off from previous wipes too.

not wanting to dump your bag because it weighs 30kg + is on him tbh also this game isnt counter strike so jiggle peeking is less effective than just running full sprint and turning your head for info its almost always an impossible shot for someone holding a hallway to land on unless they are anticipating it. summits problem isnt that the game is shit its that he lacks the desire to learn it

It’s almost like high tier loot items don’t go for high prices until people get towards the end game. Almost makes sense but I’m not a streamer so what do I know.

For me, eft beta is like gambling. That buzz, that rush of energy I get when I place my bets on this gun and that equipment and hitting a jackpot is what I enjoy about it. It's like gambling for me because, I have to not feed the machine too much and know when to fold. That pmc who just killed ten guys trying to take dorms voiping at me to come inside? Fuck that, if I can get out that shit I'm gone. Does that mean I don't loot or engage other stuff on the way out? That depends honestly but it can be a rush sometimes.

As someone who really likes tarkov, I 100 percent agree with summit in this case lmao

I'm making Tarkov in Minecraft just look up "Tarkraft" maybe we can develop a game that doesn't have shit netcode (oops mc servers already always lag, but the community can pay for better servers if they actually got money.) And make an ARCADE TARKOV that is like just running and gunning in MC with the same escape vibes. Somehow just a lighthearted version of Tarkov is what I wanted to make but dang development has been going on for years and people would probably still shit on it...

This is why I love Summit. I literally bitch about the same stuff lol. I'm also done with inertia and this game. I started playing in 2017. Miss the old EFT so much. Oh well.

I love summit but that's just facts. This isn't CSGO. You wanna get info without much risk? Sprint across the hall and go from cover to cover while alt looking. Or any of the mechanics the guy above said. People got better and the game got harder. Learn, adapt, and escape. Or get left behind

@@calebswartz983 Nobody claimed the gameplay is/should be csgo, he made 1 reference lol, which is jiggle peaking, which was literally a thing for years before they added inertia and the dogshit weight system. And the game didn't get harder, it got gimicky and if anything the skill gap got lowered, people just camp more and use silenced dmr's because getting into close fights blow now ever since inertia.

@@Whiskas685 okay but you cant anymore. so there is no point in getting all upset and throwing a tantrum like sum sum did. you either adapt or just go play something easier. You can technically still jiggle peak in eft. you just cant do it as easy as a AD spam anymore. Therefore the skillgap is higher cus it requires MORE tech and precision to get that info safely. I loved pre-inertia as much as the next guy but I also get the game is evolving and shit that works one wipe prolly wont work the next one. TL;DR skill issue.

EFT has always sucked. Not sure why it took him so long to see that
