Thanks again to Summit Racing Equipment for their partnership with Bigfoot . Those Summit paint schemes were definitely some of the best looking trucks/bodies.

Bigfoot has and always will be my favorite monster truck of all time! I still remember seeing Bigfoot 1 when I was 19 yrs old crushing cars. I'm 55 now and still very much enjoy watching all the old videos of Bigfoot. There's alot of em out there now, but Bigfoot is still No 1 to me...

It's not actually a Ford engine, look it up Allen Root it's based on a Ford and a Dodge hemi heads all aluminum but it sounds like a Ford. Oh the original Bigfoot 640 cu Alan Root engine was out of a boat ,racing boat that is

Strictly speaking it is a Ford performance division engine (basically like ordering Kaase or Yates stuff from Ford Racing today) It does have a Ford oval and a Ford casting number on the block. Also it doesn't have Mopar heads but Alan Root heads. Chrysler has done more with the hemi design but they aren't the only hemi ever built, Ford even built a hemi back in ww2 for the Sherman tank. But it is absolutely not a standard production' 385 series engine.

the one thing i would like to see is EVERY bigfoot truck (fastraxx, ranger, and shuttle included) together for one picture. won't happen with 6, 16, 10, and 9 being scrapped.

+LUNITIC WILL #9 being scraped? Would have loved seeing every Bigfoot vehicle as well. Wished they had just kept them all, even if they weren't using them. Each one has it's own history and a story to tell.

Well, I think it's time to put todays so called "monster trucks" aside as "monster buggies". These are no trucks anymore. They are oversized toys. When i watch one of these shows today I get bored really quick. On the other hand I still love the classic shows where monster trucks were real trucks crashing real cars with all these chrome and bursting glass. :-)
