Remember how much time it took for us fans to get the confirmation that Salah is not leaving? This shows that he was probably unsure whether he wanted to depart or not, however none of the interviews I've seen from him this year indicate an interest in a move so I think he will stay.

Summerville for 30 million ? Do it, dot now and do it fast.

Firstly, sell Salah. Summerville is quality, I've seen him quite a lot this season and he ticks all the boxes at Leeds. A bargain at that price.

Yeah he's very good on the right wing. Cuts in and scores top corners a lot. He's got pace too. Championship player of the year this season

My unrealistic transfer window would be: - DM: Martin Zubimendi: Used to playing in a double pivot as the 6 alongside a creative 8 (Merino at Real, Macca at Liverpool) Real Sociedad plays an agressive high line with counterpressing aswell so he’d slot right in. (Similar to Thiago in the way he receives and distributes the ball, Stefan could learn a lot from him) £50M/€60M RELEASE CLAUSE - LCB/LB: Levi Colwill: Premier League proven. Solid defender, incredible passing ability and progressive carrier. Obviously there’s options like Inacio, Hincapié and Pacho but I’d prefer to go PL proven for once. £40M/€50M PRICE TAG - RW: Johan Bakayoko: long term replacement for Salah. We lack individual brilliance which makes us predictable. Salah still has the numbers but there’s an obvious decline in his numbers when we look at take-ons, dribbles, sprints etc. Johan is similar to Doku but more direct and effective in the final third. £40M/€50M PRICE TAG - Other players we could get to strengthen our squad depth: Geertruida (€25M versatile defender), Mats Wieffer (€30M tall midfield engine), Tosin Adarabioyo (free PL proven), Khepren Thuram (€15M rotation for midfield) - Zubimendi, Colwill, Bakayoko, Adarabioyo and Thuram for a total of around €150-175M (Again this is very unrealistic but I’d love to see this happen since I’ve watched these players a lot and think they’d fit us perfectly)

Reportedly has a £85M release clause (€100M) which is just too much, if we’re spending that money I’d prefer Rodrygo f.e. but given the fact that we need multiple signings (imo) it wouldn’t make sense spending that big on one player. Also, they signed him last summer so the release clause will only be available by July 2025.

@@kalidkaliti4225 Ugarte is far from good enough. He’s great defensively but his technical ability is so underwhelming that he doesn’t even start in France. I’d argue that technical ability is even more important in England so he wouldn’t fit. He’d be great for a mid-table team that doesn’t have a lot of possession, but in a top 6 team that has a possession based playstyle, he would lack the ball distribution needed.

Watched him the other day. Very lack lustre and lightweight but good numbers for the season so for £30m he might be useful

If we sold salah for 100 mil plus let’s say if Saudi were still to offer 130-150 if they still wanted him that much. Before we get the salah money. We already have 190 mil to spend for the summer because that’s what we’ve earned from this season from competitions and what not, so 190 mil plus let’s say a cushy 130 mil for salah means 320 mil to spend for Arne slot in the summer to replace the outgoings such as Thiago and matip possibly Diaz if he goes to Barca which means another 50-60 mil to spend which bumps it to 380 mil you’ve got to replace possibly tsimikas I think he might go as well there’s a lot more I could say but I don’t wanna ramble on. And I’m not saying I want these players to go it’s just a thought.
