I've been working in early childcare fir years, and the fact that ottis is able to talk in full sentences and answer questions while understanding what they mean is amazing to see. So many children nowadays, at least in canada, are just screen time babies not retaining any information

i think alfie and zoe being parents is my favorite season of life for them. its the cutest thing. and they are such great parents.

I think what’s so lovely about Zoe and Alfie as parents is you never see them put an iPad/phone in front of Ottie. I’m sure they might do sometimes for meals/when out and about but when they’re cooking and Ottie is there patiently watching it’s so nice to see her involved 🥰 I have nothing against using the tv for kids sometimes but as a 90s/00s kid who didn’t have that it feels so nostalgic!

Agreed! I feel sad that shoving a kid in front of the device has become the norm! People always comment on how advanced Ottie is, and that’s exactly why- they talk to her all the time! Children are people- there’s no reason why they shouldn’t be involved in conversations and invited to join in with what adults are doing. I’m a nanny and don’t do any screen time for the little ones in my care, so it’s weird for me to imagine just putting the tv on for a baby!

This literally couldn’t have come at a better time. I am going through a horrendous break up at the minute but your videos always bring me so much comfort
