Summer Training for Hockey: Off Season Planning

Спорт

Welcome to our 2024 off season Hockey Training Blueprint, your gateway to balancing strength, cardio, and in-game performance, ensuring you're not just topping fitness tests but excelling on the ice too.
Hockey's complexity often leads players astray, focusing energy in the wrong areas or paralyzed by indecision. With over 20 years of coaching experience, a background in kinesiology, professional hockey playing experience, and a KZread audience of millions, I've been in those shoes. Those experiences have shaped a streamlined program that cuts through the noise, focusing on what truly matters.
🚀 Mechanics Mastery: Learn to leverage elite players' mechanics, simplifying your approach to ensure execution.
Crazy Cardio: Outperform everyone in endurance tests without running out of breath, thanks to scientifically-backed strategies.
Ruthless Strength: Boost your strength by 50 to 100 pounds in key movements, all without overtraining.
Spirit Connection: Balance training with social engagement, family time, and community involvement for holistic growth.
📚 Why This Approach Works:
Deliberate practice can be daunting, pushing you beyond comfort zones and demanding feedback. Yet, it's in these challenges that growth occurs, transforming effort into tangible in-game results. This program distills complex concepts into actionable steps, ensuring you prioritize effectively without feeling overwhelmed.
🎯 Just for You:
While this training blueprint is invaluable, the real magic happens in Train 2.0+. I invite you to join our membership for an in-depth exploration of this program and much more. Gain access to all of the resources one needs to maximize their development, including weekly coaching calls, a supportive community, and a comprehensive library of training materials.
Remember, the journey to greatness begins with a single step. This program is your roadmap.

I made a huge jump in my skill development by listening to Jason…I made a D3 club college hockey team by using his methods…I started playing ice at 17 and I’m competing with D3 and junior players and playing well against them. Every year I’m getting better and faster by using Jason’s methods. Don’t quit anyone, train smart and work harder. It will pay off!

Nice that's actually crazy considering how late you started. I like Jason a lot since he's really smart, explains everything really well, and provides you with all the tools to succeed if its something you're serious about.

Jason Yee is undoubtedly the leader in hockey skill development. I highly recommend you Delve into Train 2.0 for a deeper understanding. Becoming the best in hockey requires a growth mindset, but remember, this mindset and the actions to being the Best is not for everyone…Only The Best!

24:20 - if your team bonds over alcohol or drugs abuse, you're probably not in the best team. It's obviously important to be a team player and be part of the community, but drinking alcohol consistently can damage your muscles and your brain, so it's not really the smartest choice for athletes (hence its ban for pretty much all the college athletes).

Inside the Downhill Skating System we offer a couple of different courses like Ruthless Strength Training and Downhill Skating Simulation. Also the DSS drills can mostly all be done on rollerblades. Any further questions please let me know! Happy to explain things further.

I’ll take a look. The mechanics videos I’ve watched are not simple and require ice. Not exactly off ice training, which I thought the video was about! Maybe I misunderstood that.
