It was a fun couple of days. Thanks for the compliment. Not fearless just had confidence with the bees. I can't wait to have my own bees.

The blue hive will not survive with that small of a population , you seemed to have the same prognosis. It will need some help. Chuck is fearless. I hope he gets a couple of hives for his back yard.

You may be right. I might have let it go too long. May have to add bees/brood ASAP. Yes chuck is researching and buying equipment to get a few nucs next spring. He IS fearless. It was a fun couple of days and he learned fast. He quickly learned the skills and was able to perform about half of the splits the second day. It was so nice and so much faster to have help.
