This video made my mouth water! Sea scallops are not offered by the tropical ocean where I live in Costa Rica. I spent the first 50 years of my life feasting on all the cold water seafood from the northern Pacific ocean! This recipe looks do delicious!

I loved & related to your story. The part about being afraid of food & afraid of gaining a pound. Then I began really learning to cook & my mom gave me the same mixer & it’s at least 17 years old. My mom is gone & everytime we use the mixer I think of her. Luckily, it’s still in great condition. (I only used it in the beginning to mix cookie dough 😆)

Loved seeing you cook with the essential oils

I still have my Kitchenaid mixer from 1983. I love this mixer so much I bought my mom one shortly after I got mine. I did eventually buy the larger newer model in about 2010 for larger batches and kneading dough but it doesn’t have the same quality sound as the older smaller one which is still my favorite. I love the purr of the machine, how she works and it will be a sad day when I have to part with it. I buy good kitchen equipment and get very attached to it! How special that your beautiful machine was gifted to you. Like baking with a friend.......😌

My Grandma made her pasta like that and as much as I helped her, I can't seem to make it quite as good as she did. Maybe I will try making it with that song playing in the background. :)

I just know you asked earlier about what we’d love to hear and see, so I thought I’d chime in. 😉 No criticism intended. I really admire how well you use your time and skills. I’d love to be a bug on the wall and see how your day goes. 🥰 I thought when I became an empty nester, I’d have a lot more time! What an hilarious assumption. 🤣 I don’t know how I was able to get so much done previously when all my six children were home, and I was homeschooling them, gardening and all of the other things it takes to run a household, and family that I’d have more free time. Lol! So, not true. I’d love to be able to do what you do. Film, photograph, document, and tape all of my projects and garden creations around my two acres. If only I had a clone! 🤷🏻‍♀️ I need some on-sight help for all of my ideas, and projects. I’m definitely on overwhelm with all that I want done right now. It’s so great all of the amazing things you have learned how to do with your blogging, KZread videos, doTERRA business, homesteading, and all the wonderful knowledge you have gained by doing all of this, and more, I’m sure a lot of time and research, and many late nights. I honor you, and all of your tenacity and creativity. You are an amazing woman Angela. I’m sure when the times right you’ll have that microphone set up you need. Little by little. Its to bad we can’t just have instant knowledge and monetary capital for what, and when we need it. Keep up the great work you are doing. Soooo many things to love about this video! Einkorn ... Giselle uses this ancient grain in her baking as modern wheat bothers much of their family. She loves it and has adapted it for sourdough. The music ... around the 6 minute mark especially. #swoon Sounds like an old vinyl being played on a vintage record player ... I kept going back just for that! The kneading, the Kitchen Aid, the cutting/kneading board ... cooking IS sexy! And lastly .... the dress! For several weeks now I have been scouring second hand/thrift stores for summer dresses and cotton slip skirts. I actually stopped the video and took a screenshot of the dress and sent it to a friend to show her what it was I had been on the look-out for. And then, you dear girl posted the link! I ordered the white one with the tiny pink roses print. I am loving these shorter, up close and personal, videos! Bless you, Ang! xoxoxo

You have inspired me to give homemade pasta a try again. I have a hand cranked pasta machine which I love but I somehow always seem to be fighting with it when I use it. I don't think I add enough flour to the pasta maker and sticking is a problem. Thanks so much for this beautiful video and for taking the time to do this for us all. xxoo from Virginia

I've got a hand crank in my Amazon cart amzn.to/2NkcHHP 'cause I'm a little Type-A with noise LOL (notice there is no fridge in my kitchen) and the noise of my attachments makes me cray cray after pasta making for an hour. LOL

Once we get settled at our new farm this fall, we are going to try Einkorn and see if that solves our reactions to gluten. We re ally love all the gluten free options we have been making for years, but I just want real bread!

Were those flowers real? My long ago old neighbor lady made her egg noodles and then dried them on her featherbed atop newspapers. We, as kids, slept in that bed one night and by morning, the three of us were nearly on the floor as the feathers settled. Looks delish!
