I love the window treatment in your kitchen just as it is. It looks like a valance window treatment.

The kitchen curtains are valances and cafe curtains. Cafe curtains usually go from the midpoint of the window, to the bottom of your lower sill. It’s whatever you like. I love those sponges.

I'd put some cute little tie backs in the middle of the side curtains. Maybe throw a strawberry pick in it. But they look cute as is! Beautiful decorating. Xo

The addition of colour sure makes a difference doesn't it? The curtains I would shorten from the top to make it a valance all the way across the top. If you shorten from the top, it will be done quicker and you will have the blue trim all the way across. Unfortunately, now it does look like you hung the cafe curtains from the valance and not good. Love that bowl! And, how neat to find the sponges too!

I have this pattern too and enjoy it. I like the curtain but I think a short valance would visually be better. You have a lovely window with view, less is more in my opinion. But I do think everything you do is lovely and you are too.

Personally I'd trim the long section of the curtains to the same size as the valence. Attach the blue trim from the cut peices to finish. Still looks lovely though Also love your wreath🍓🌼🌿 xx
