The fabric might be good to use for sewing projects as your girls brush up their sewing skills. Maybe sew items they can gift to people. Tote or grocery bags, jewelry pouches, coin pouches, oven mitts or pot holders, apron or craft smocks. If any fabric piece isn't large enough they could be sewn together like a block or crazy quilt and then sewn into whatever their heart desires. Doll cloths or items for doll house etc. The potentials are limitless. ❤

I used to think getting headaches/migraines during weather changes or extreme heat was just coincidental but some time ago I read about how weather changes can cause headaches/migraines. My mom used to say she knew it was going to rain when her arthritis acted up. Well, now I’m my mother but instead of arthritis, it’s headaches. 😂. Anyway, I accept that they will happen and try to limit outdoor time on hot and humid days. In NE Ohio we are dealing with similar weather.

Second the dog towels idea. Our dog’s towels are a different color than anyone else’s in the house and we keep dirty ones in a separate basket as well to wash with only dog bedding. No one likes dog hair on their face so anything dog is always a separate load.

That’s not a bad idea! I like to always keep a “moving mentality” when decluttering, like, would I want to pack this and take it with me if we were to move suddenly? Or I ask, would I buy this again right now? Those questions help me move things along and once the space is clear I never miss what used to be!

My son started tearing paper at a very young age. This is how I kept him entertained in the car when we traveled. At age two he started cutting paper with plastic child safe scissors. This kept him entertained for long periods of time and it allowed me to get many chores done around the house. At about age four or five he started making things with toilet paper rolls and cereal boxes. Then he moved on to cardboard. He would make houses, small cars, action figures and toy guns with moving parts. In fourth grade he used cardboard to make a robot with flashing led lights for his Halloween costume and a functioning vending machine that dispensed snacks. Throughout the years he has made many amazing items out of cardboard. He’s now in high school and has moved on to making things out of wood. He has made a small picnic table for his 10 month old niece, a step ladder for his closet and a shelf with pegs for my bathroom to hang towels. It’s crazy to think that it all started when he was a baby/toddler so content to tear/cut paper. Maybe you have a little builder in the making too. 😊

We just got power after the power outage due to Beryl..been terrible three days and nights of heat and humidity. I get headaches too when it's hot.Texas is 90s all the time..huh..there's so much pending work. Loved the declutter..i did some garage cleaning and donated a bunch last week. More to do before summer ends. I have been so motivated seeing your bread machine but I don't want to invest in a brand new one. My kids are out of College and one is out of the house so I don't need to make bread as often as you do, at the same time it's healthier to make bread at home. Didn't see any at the donation centre I went to. About books I love Freida McFaddens book but haven't read that one.Since we had no power I actually read books I have borrowed from the library..i finished The Perfect Son by Freida, it's really good. Reading Such a quiet place by Megan Miranda..loving it and Finding Cinderella by Colleen Hoover.

*Couldn't you use the decaf coffee to coffee stain fabrics to make them look older and vintage? I am thinking of small decorative flags that come on dowels, white doilies you would rather have in an ecru color, or to age book or music pages you plan to use in Christmas crafts like paper wreaths?*
