Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль

The 2021 summer catfish season is upon us and in this week's video, I'll cover my TOP 10 TIPS for catching catfish this summer. If this is your first year learning how to catch catfish or you're a seasoned pro I'll cover tons of great summer catfishing tips to put more catfish on your hook. Summer is a great time to get out and fish for catfish and one of the best times of the year to catch catfish.
Fishing for catfish in the summer is one of the best times to catch channel catfish on prepared bait or cut bait. Blue catfish and channel catfish get stacked up thick and bite well. Flathead catfish begin to make moves from the spawn and start feeding up.

also in Texas! so what hours during the day you think is best? Not sure where you are but if you have ever been to Granger Tx? Been there twice now and not a single bite... can't figure out why. I found the shad in a wind blown cove and looked all around didnt see any big fish. Caught some shad and took off. Found more shad with fish under them... threw out 6 rods and nothing. I can mostly tell when it's whites, however im just curious on the thermocline thing... if the thermocline is at 21 to 23ft how are you supposed to fish in 40ft of water when its "cooler" cause thats where they look right? cooler water? man i wanna figure this out so bad Great video though! sent it to a buddy as well!

Hey Chad. Ive been catfishing off a peninsula point of a reservoir. Im using cut bluegill and your big bertha santi cooper rig set up. I was successful on catching a 2 pound blue. But lately ive been getting alot of heavy nibbles but no hook ons. I know the bertha comes with the 10/o octopus hooks. What can i do ?

I got a question…. I always see u slaying channel n little mud holes finger pockets wat ever u wat call them in reeds or cattails do u have a video on how to locate these pockets ? Can u make a video on locating shallow water pockets and wat makes one finger hot and others not? And last do u regularly chum these holes like carp fishing to take $$$ ppl to hot action? Just curious cause I’ve seen several video where u just throw back n same small spot time and again and keep pulling channel out

It’s not dip bait it’s punch bait and that’s what I use a portion of the year. I’m a full time guide and have been for 25 years. I consistently put my clients on limits of fish (25 per person) day in and day out. This isn’t an airport. No need to announce your departure. 😂

try going to a steel leader about 12-18 inches long. a lot of times its not cats that will bite through line (at least in my area) its typically bowfin or gar that will do so. however, the age/type/condition of your line is a big factor in what youre talking about. mono line is not UV resistant and will degrade if left outdoors or afyer extended use and needs to be changed each year.
