I've never understood why parents were okay with their kids going across the country to stay with hundreds of adults they don't know for three months.

Parents should think of this before letting their kids go to summer camps.

Being a parent is a year round job, what kind of parents sends their kids away for 3 months? We called summer camp a couple days at grandma's house, the ONLY person you can trust 24/7....maybe.

You can see how he's trying to reassure himself by hugging himself. He's obviously traumatised, they desurve better justice then prison it's disgusting.

This is sad, imagine being in the same position as the kids went through I can't stand people who sexually assault children

It’s horrible that these children were taken advantage of like this. If you’re going to send kids to camp, the safest thing to do is send them to day camp. That way your kid won’t be showering or sleeping in a cabin with adult strangers.

Kids can't even enjoy a day in summer camp. Honestly it'd be better to send your kids to a local children's summer activity center instead of leaving them miles away with potential predators.

This is just...I can't even explain it...This is just so disgusting, the world is just completely destroyed by so many people like this and other people...there's always a reason for these stuff

As a child who was sexually assaulted at the age of 7/8 I am disgusted. I never told anyone until I was 10, I am currently 12. Sadly the man that did it was still technically a “minor”. This just disgusts me. This is why we need safer places for children and people in general. 😔

As a camp counselor myself, this breaks my heart. We want parents to trust us to be with their kids, not to think of us badly.

Absolutely disgusting! I have no words for how disgusted i am. Kids safety should be top priority at these kind of places. We need justice!

I worked in a summer camp that did not tolerate any sexual abuse. I am glad that the camp I worked in did background checks.

This is why I begged my mother to not leave me in summer camp
