The body only efficiently uses 25-30 g of protein per meal, and excretes the rest through urine. Essentially it’s not worth eating. You are better off eating less grams in smaller portions ever few hours if you truly care about protein consumption. Also, I keep seeing so many people promoting protein for fitness and never discussed the amount of fiber they’re eating, which is equally as important.

Ty for sharing!! I’m not a fitness or nutrition expert i deff could do more research, that’s very helpful Ty! I just like a lot of protein bc it’s helped me lose weight, keeps me full for a while and prevents me from overeating, but i should probably learn more about how much is TOO much lol.

@@StephanieRoseClark oh I know! Just thought I would share as it does add extra calories without actually giving any true benefit. You seem concerned about calories that’s all. You might have a bigger benefit from the protein if you have a small protein filled snack a couple hours after your meal rather than 45 g in one meal. I just like to make mention of this when I see it because there’s a lot of pushing from fitness folks to the protein and they don’t say anything about fiber. I’m not calling you one of the fitness folks lol.

I’m in Oklahoma and it’s common here to get in the triple digits in the summer then adding on the heat index on top of it. It’s crazy!

I live in AZ, we already got our hottest day this summer which was 113 degrees 🔥 but yes 103 is pretty hot for a state that isn’t known for its hot weather. Loved the vlog! 💕

Same! We had an A&W nearby and my mom loved root beer floats…always got them. Part of my childhood too 😊 Too bad they closed them in our area. Delicious 😋 I’m in northern part of Az, and it’s hot 🥵 To think I’d be used to the heat, I’m not! 😂 it’s like having a hairdryer in ur face haha. It’s crazy.
