    isnt the denominator for formula 3 meant to be 6?

    I'm actually going to take a shot and PRAY that you see this, even if the video is posted 1 year ago. I get the whole concept of sigma notation when the lower limit is 1, but what happens when the lower limit is greater than 1? I'm really hoping you can help me.

    Just subtract the two results.... Sum i=10 to 20 will equal Sum i=1 to 20 minus Sum i=1 to 9 Alittle hard to read without good notation but hopefully you get the idea, if not let me know
