Im a teen rn and i kinda look forward to remembering all this but idk sometimes i feel so far gone like ive always felt like ima die young. Not from intentional suicide but i get so depressed sometimes an dim really good at hiding it im like really talkative and just normal looking not to suck my own dick but im pretty fit and i never have trouble getting girls but that never mattered to me friendships and family always matter to me the most but i got no one so i turn to drugs alot i feel like thats whats gonna kill me. 16 and i already love popping pills and seek the high like a mf. Sometimes it feels like im dieing i feel so numb sometimes i have to cut to feel something. Ik i can get out of this ive been dealingn with this for a long asf time and proven myself i can stand back up each time but i feel like there will be one time where i dont get lucky and dont wake up.

"This... This isn't so bad...I can live with this", Nathan says as he lay back on his bed looking up staring at his ceiling fan as it slowly rotates showing Nathan his own inner struggles as nothing more than a slow turn cycle, it was then when Nathan decided "I'll be better off on my own" before falling soundly asleep, The end

Edit: wow i check in on this comment ever few months and its honestly a bit overwhelming seeing the responses. I know this sounds corny but I don’t even care, I hope you guys never give up and I wish you all the best ✌️ To anyone that thinks they’re gonna be a Doomer for life just know that you can do this, it’s not easy but you can do it, I’m not all the way there but things are starting to look up for the first time in years. I have made a list of the things that have helped me if anyone cares (probably not) 1: cut out the weed, frequent weed smoking only made me more depressed when I wasn’t high 2: go to bed at the same time every night, preferably early. 3: use audible instead of KZread before bed so you don’t stay up all night watching stupid videos and wake up late the next day having wasted the day 4: stop watching porn 5: buy a journal and plan your day the night before so you know what you have to do when you get up 6: exercise no matter how little you can do, I started jiu jitsu and have actually made friends despite being very anxious 7: clean your room, it helps declutter my mind 8: make small goals, you’re not going to conquer the world over night it will be slow but you will see progression and having lived a life of no accomplishment for so many years it gives me a bit of confidence that I can actually make something of myself, Anyways nobody’s probably going to read this but if you do just know that we’re still young men and our Doomer fates aren’t set in stone

In my teens I felt much the same. To be honest, I'm in my 30s now and deep down, I can't help but feel it's all still shit. The world is a horrible place, but I have realized one thing. The only way you can improve this pile of shit called reality we live in is by taking the initiative and doing it yourself. No one is coming to save you. I myself have a hard time dragging myself out of the muck, but it doesn't have to be that way for you. Things can get better if you put in a willful and dedicated effort. Get it done and be more than those of us that have all but resigned ourselves to our fates. I won't regurgitate the same old trope of "you can be anything", but I will say that you can be something more. Push for it and that something more can be attained. Sorry if that's all shit advice. It's the best I've got.

José Medina you gotta hit the bottom of the ladder In order to climb back to the top man, unfortunately life isn’t easy and it never will be but you gotta get out the and enjoy it for what it’s worth, make spontaneous plans, make new friends, smoke that joint, but remember you’re still living, you’re here right now breathing and healthy, a lot more than any people have in other countries and I know it’s hard trust me it fucking is but we gotta do it

I remember 2011 singing this to my self at a job that I hated after wrecking my grades in college. And I got up, I quit, told my parents I was moving 5 states away, and I'd be back when I found answers, then I hit the road. I lived a completely different life, new friends, new places. And I found my answer when I finally... Well I could say but it wouldn't solve anything reading it. You have heard it before, but I realized what I was doing so far away from home, I unintentionally was living with the answer. I encourage anyone that's looking for that way out to get so far away from your comfort zone you can't go back and you have to make new one, whether that 5 feet or 500 miles away. Thats where I made my progress.

One day I thought I had figured out the source of my despair....I became instantly convinced that If I went to college and then medical school I would be happy because I would be successful....Well fast forward almost 8 years later....Graduated college top of my class....currently in my 3rd year of medical school and I'm officially at the lowest point in my life.

To those of you that think you're unhappy because you're not successful.... I used to think this was why I was unhappy. I didn't go to college right out of high school, instead, I opted to go load boxes into trucks at UPS. I was so fucking depressed.... No amount of alcohol or antidepressants help... Nothing makes me feel good and at this point, I believe nothing will...

Crap, I was having a good day...
