Fun fact, when Sum 41 wrote this song, Deryck Whibley was actually heard saying, "and in a few years when people look back on our music, I hope they argue of mundane things such as being born in wrong generations. If our fans can do that, then we will live on forever"

I love when artists combine ROCK or HEAVY METAL with RAP music. Bcuz those are surprisingly such a good fit together. A lot of rappers get there inspiration of ROCK OR HEAVY METAL and that’s facts 💯
Ahhh this song represented the end of an era of good music. Released in late 2001, it seems like it was a bleed over from what is now rapidly becoming a sorely missed and cherished 2 decades of music from 1980-1999: the best 20 year stretch in music history in my humble opinion.

This song means so much to me. Don't care about social constructs and conforming. Dont worry. I love this song becuase it tells me to be myself and not care about what everyone thinks. Just have a good time, that's all you can do. Don't waste your time trying to make yourself like them. It may work, but you won't be satisfied with the results of your own efforts. But at the same time, this song is about them having fun being jerks. Have fun, but don't be a jerk.
