That's not greed he wanted to be a real sultan like hai ancestors but he forgot that , the time when men ruled was over since Suleiman era !!! After that women and vizier ruled over sultan ...he tried to be like his ancestors but failed badly, first because he got throne at very young age and his mother already made her connections and power, also his brothers were alive and all of his sons died too soon . He just wanted to end the thing which ruined the complete system and wanted to rule like a man , an ottoman . He was the first one who tried to be like a leader contrary to his ancestors who were ruled by haseki, valide and viziers.

@@abukhaled3827 Emperor could be weak. He might be strong though, but he wanted more and didn't want to share his power even with his mother. Which was a mistake in multiple ways. First, his mother was also powerful. And second, she could help him with her experience, since she was de facto ruling the state for decades.

@@barkaatahmed8137 I understand that in Muslim culture women take lower places, but if you move from that thought, you will understand that a woman could also be a powerful ruler and run a strong state. Just look at the Russian empress Catherine the Great, or the British queen Victoria.

Sultan Murad is the best after Sultan Sulayman. If we think deeply, he conquered many States among them bakdad is one. As a great Islamic ruler to take many decision that going to against most of the people. If he alives not killed by his mother ,also he will conquer many states.He was a brave man that we have seen.After the kosem Sultana otoman Sultanate going to worse. She killed not only Murad but also her younger son Ibrahim & also added that she at the last he try to kill her grandchild to get more power.Also we deeply think when Ibrahim was killed by her mother what he said to her
