Have you forgotten that if Sukuna can attack the soul, isn't it possible for him to kill Kars even if he ate the fingers? To make this more specific, the main reason why Yuuji was able to contain Sukuna wasn't his body, but his soul. Or to be more precise, the ability to tell the difference between his own soul and Sukuna's. Vessels that are able to contain his power only occur once every thousand years or so, so Kars would definitely be able to do that. However, it actually boils down not to if Kars can withstand that power, because he certainly can, but if he can stop Sukuna's soul from taking over his body. And I doubt that Kars could stop that. If Kars was to eat Sukuna, that would be the end of all life in the universe because Kars would obviously not know how to do this unless he knows Yuuji.

Well, all Im going to say is 7:35 This move is used, and Kars dies. Yes Im dead-serious. A flame that burns hotter than a dude who's whole purpose was to be a volcano curse [Jo-Goat] and apparently you just ignored it in the entire thought-process of how this fight would go. No offense but this is what exactly the points against Kars: -Sukuna counters animals with Cleave and Dismantle (probably not even needed) -Sukuna is highly faster, Kars barely was as fast as a plane (In the anime atleast.) -Sukuna's Fire Arrow kills Kars. -Kars may land a hit, but then again RCT just negates that and its just sad for Kars. -Domain Expansion: Malevolent Kitchen. -"Nah, I'd win." -Even if Kars DOESN'T die from Fire Arrow, (somehow) Sukuna can EASIELY throw this dude to outer space. If he knows it or not, his going to eventually do so. Sukuna LOVES testing people. Also, if you're here to tell me "same realm so Kars gets [blah blah]" and etc bullshit like: "What if Kars had CT", no LMFAO. If you have to even add stuff on top for it to be even remotely be a fair fight, that is fucking hilarious. Yeah no, thats just PRAYING for Kars to win. Why would he need to awaken every curse technique? He has a higher likelihood of just observing the system then doing something busted like figuring out that the more restrictions put up on an effect the greater the effect then make 100 pairs of hands for hand signs and do something on that level. Also if the domain expansion isn't named 'Let the good times roll' you aren't naming it properly.

@@ratio8099 Kars hamon is basically as hot as the Sun… he would literally chop through Sukuna like butter… not to mention Kars doesn’t need RCT to heal himself so if he got a limb chopped off he would just regenerate it. Sakuna cant kill Kars unless he erases everything single one of his cells. The longer a fight goes the better Kars will get in battle. We only saw a fraction of what he could do in the show. Sukunas lightning or Fire arrow ain’t doing nothing to Kars since he could probably make himself fire proof. He could also just make his skin harder and more durable to deal with slashes.

Current thoughts for me are Pistol Shrimp, which can closer their claws fast enough to produce a sound at 218 decibels, which also produces a jet of water that reaches temps of 8000 degrees Fahrenheit, four times hotter than the lava Kars was submerged in. Since Kars was able to scale up the wings of a bird and have them function the same at his size, sizing up a Pistol Shrimp's claw doesn't seem that unreasonable. Add in the square cube law and god almighty that would be devastating.

I feel like a lot of people have been making vs battles with Sukuna going up against way stronger interverse characters just to bully him for what happened in ch 236, glad Kars is getting some love though

The main issue with powerscaling is that for every example feat of some crazy shit that they explain with physics they then just casually ignore tons of other things that directly make that not possible. Such as matter moving at ftl speeds. Literally not possible and if you're gonna say "but oh it's fictional, that doesn't matter" then stop scaling using actual physics too. You can't have your cake and eat it. Also basing it on irl physics is redundant anyways because for all we know light in that fictional universe travels slower than in ours.

I think a major reason people have a misunderstanding of Kars being "weak" is because they only watched the anime, where his abilities are moreso shown than described. As such, they see he has insane regeneration, can transmute his flesh into animals plus animal bodyparts, and of course is now immune to sunlight, but the upper scale of his capabilities gets glossed over.

...Yeah, honestly, Kars has been a pretty solid counterpoint I've been using whenever some weird VS battle goes on between verse's. Its incredibly consistent to use just to demonstrate how many matchups are dumb and bound to the verse's rules. Kars just happens to scale either really poorly, or just insanely broken depending on how and where you place him. Tbh, Jojo's definition of an "ultimate lifeform" might be one of the better interpretations that gives respect to that title.

The one problem with scaling Kars is that you will either scale verse vs verse with no correlation between them or argue that if the oponent exists in the same universe as Kara that would mean that Kars encompasses those abilities and surpasses them, thus making him constantly the one with the advantage which is technically what Kars is so it's not a stretch.

No other person would harm Kars' even with their amplified hamon as Kars was much stronger in terms of using hamon. So not only would you need to have the stone but you'd need to be a master hamon user and better than Kars.

I mean, that’s specifically went betting said souls with their games. They are regular humans before that. The video mainly brought up that nobody in the JoJoverse has resistance against Soul manipulation, seen with the D’arby bros (like you mentioned) and Silver Chariot Requiem, switching the souls of both people and animals. The best I can compare the D’arby bros abilities is like a binding vow that requires the opponent to agree to bet their soul and the D’arby in question bets theirs. The loser gets their soul manipulated

Now that I think about it... If your cursed technique is somewhat based on genetics, Kars could very well adapt his own genes until he gets a busted one. And if even Nanami could protect his soul subconsciously, I argue Kars could do the same and even understand how to do it. The main issue is whether he would survive long enough to do all of these things against Sukuna (I think he would, because Sukuna doesn't like to end his fights without having fun). Also this depends on whether Kars even has access to cursed energy in the first place, and I think there's a really good chance he would. If I remember correctly l, only the japanese people do (sorcerers or not), and with Kars intellect/understanding of living beings, I think he would know how to alter himself in order to have cursed energy. Sukuna would find this interesting, and maybe even use more of his techniques that we currently don't know to combat this. Man this fight would be so cool

@@desadograisedrobot515 Anything can leave Sukuna's domain; it isn't sealed off like most domain expansions. The only problem is the fact that Kars wouldn't really know the danger posed by his shrine appearing, as he can't see his attacks. Also, the light speed feats for Kars are tenuous at best.

One thing i need to add to the discussion is that people usually overlook the part qhere Kars has the abilities of ALL life forms 100x stronger than the original. So even if you manage to HIT him, he is immune to fire, immune to cold, immune dto radiation, poisonous, venomous, can multiply, can regenerate, is completely immortal...how do you even damage him? Even in jojo he is so overpowered that he had to forget to use his abilities to "die". Not to mention he has a bazillion IQ if im not mistaken.

@@DungEnjoyerr literally just go over junpeis arc. There's a difference between soul and body manipulation that's plainly laid out. Mahito heals while manipulating the soul. But reverse curse techniques heal the body. They have the exact same result, but operate differently on a fundamental level. Nomatter how you reconfigure your brain, so long as your body doesn't match your souls true form, then you can't have cursed energy.

Another thing to note is despite it not being shown Kars can fully clone himself at will through mitosis and that makes this much more one sided

He’s assuming Kars can do this and make a mini Kars that will regenerate, but if this were the case Kars would have killed joseph when he shot the piranhas at joseph while he was in the plane by turning them into himself, which would allow him to be in the WW2 era plane that he literally couldn’t catch

Polnareff literally states two times or something in the very chapter his supposedly FTL feat comes from, that he is not able to react to lightspeed movement... The very idea, that Jotaro who throughout the story either gets hit by all sort of stuff vastly slower than light or has to rely on za warudo to dodge it, is supposedly "massively ftl" can only be described as utterly absurd...

This was such a fun discussion to listen to. It felt like it was really going back and forth for a bit before settling on Kars’ ultimate victory.

In JoJoverse, the soul is very, very close to the body. Any changes to the body will affect the soul, and vice versa. Like how Dio being a vampire, and his body's strength directly affect his stand's strength. I'd guess Kars being the ultimate lifeform probably ALSO made his soul one of the toughest things in the verse. Not as much as manipulate it over how tough it is. And I think based on that, he could probably survive for a decent while, enough to injure Sukuna a single time. And if that happens, since sorcery is based on genetics, I'm willing to bet he'd be able to copy sorcery from his blood and then upgrade it instantly and then beat Sukuna. Basically if his soul is strenghtened enough to survive a few strong cleaves and hurts sukuna once he wins, even with Mahoraga, cause Mahoraga adapts to enemies attacks, Sukuna doesn't. And Kars can basically create several different animals and gang on Sukuna, eventually catching him offguard. However, if his soul gets hurt enough from a few strong cleaves, Sukuna might win.

Btw if he just adapted to have the body of a water bear even space wouldn't do that much against him, if I remember the water bear and it's interaction with space correctly.

When you say silver chariot blocked a ray of the sun stand does make sense but a more plausible one is when he sliced Hanged Man, a stand that’s literally made up and moves at light speed

This was a very good video. Kudos to the both of you. Btw, I have 3 things to say and hope Ican explain it without it being too long. 1. I think any JOJO character with STAND has some level of soul resistance attack. We know this through Avdol's explanation and Jotaro's mom. Avdol said only those with a very strong fighting spirit can use their stand and control it without it killing them. Jotaro's mom who didn't have a fighting spirit was shown to be dying when her stand manifested. Which verifies that statement... The only thing is, we don't know if by strong fighting spirit he meant a powerful soul, which will and should have a good resistance to minor soul attacks. But if not then Sukuna's soul cut might just work... 2. The JJK scaling... I do not agree with the Domain creation feat = A.P. It just doesn't work. Cos' if we really want to use it to scale a characters A.P in JJK 2 major problems will arise, especially since Domain is the pinnacle of the strength of jujutsu sorcerers and curses. The problems are (a) Dagon will be Star or Solar system level if we actually use domain creation = A.P. Why? Well, because we can clearly see a sea, clouds and there's a light source (a sun) inside that domain. So, using the domain creation will be completely dumb as; ( i ) Dagon will then scale above Yuki's "PLANT BUSTER BLACK HOLE". Which makes no sense since Yuki scales above Dagon narratively. ( ii ) Toji who killed Dagon will have to be a solar system or island buster which we both know to be wrong as Toji in his prime and his own well trained body, was only building to city block level by being able to take red... Although this was a weaker red as it was Gojo's first time of using it, and even his current red showed nothing on the level of even mountain A.P. Which puts Toji at a very consistent building to city block level or multi-city block level if we use Maki surviving Naoto who tore through a whole city block. Making Toji's highest end to be multi city block... Now imagine Multi city block beating the shit out of Island level or going by what is actually inside the domain... A star level/ solar system level character and even killing him. (b) Sukuna's domain is just a building (shrine...small hut). And domain is meant to be the pinnacle of their abilities and strength... Meanwhile the strongest guy's domain by creation feat is a HUT... with an attack range of 200 meters at high ends, so even if we want to say that he can create the shrine to be as big as the range his attacks covers... 200 meters isn't an island nor a planet nor a star/ solar system. See where the whole Domain creation meta doesn't work, because it is very inconsistent and doesn't align with the consistent show of power in the verse. 3 Still on JJK scaling: I believe the verse sits perfectly at large town to small city in AP and at the very highest Large city to mountain level.... Why? Well, because a 200% Purple Hollow Sukuna tanked didn't destroy more than multiple city blocks, then the unrestricted and powerful purple hollow he did at the end of their fight which heavily damaged both of hem could only destroy, like a very large area of the city, putting it in the small city to large town range... I know some people will say that that's just are of effect, but it isn't because Gojo himself said this: "IF I DON'T DIRECT ""UNRESTRICTED PURPLE"" IT HITS ME TOO, BUT I HAVE SUFFERED LLESS DAMAGE... MAYBE BECAUSE IT IS MY CURSED ENERGY". All this is saying, is that, the purple he used there was a full blown unrestricted attack meant to kill/damage Sukuna. And from what we see, it had a multi city block to small town destruction AP, by instantly wiping that whole area to rubble and dust. This is the most consistent AP scaling for the verse... Sukuna in his full form should be above the Sukuna who took that small city/large town unrestricted purple. So at best his current Sukuna should be like 2 time or 4 times that which throws him in the mountain to island level range. Yes, I know they said Gojo's cursed energy can power a country, but that has nothing to do with his AP. That is just the amount of cursed energy he has equivalent to the electricity of USA... And even if we say let's give Gojo USA'a whole electricity as his AP this will scale him to 3441682600.3824 Tons Of TNT which is Island level. Becoming very consistent with when I said full powered Sukuna will be in Mountain Range to Island level. (I converted the 2022 total electricity USA consumed into joules then into tons of TNT. that's how I got that... Note that I used a whole year, whereas they said "for months" without specifying how many, so I just set it to the whole year). Meaning it won't remove a more powerful Sukuna from the Islan level ranges. it'll place him at large Island level perfectly, with his four arms form. I believe using the statement of power USA to scale Gojo works very fine, since that is implied to be what all of his cursed energy can do. Which means his highest AP should be within mountain to Island level... But using actual feats from his 200% purple and unrestricted purple would sit him in small city/ large town range, which is the most consistent for the top tiers of the verse. Sorry, this was too long. I deeply apologize. But I hope my message was passed across. Had an argument on discord with some guys who said GOJO and SUKUNA will solo JOJO part 1 - 6 💀... I told them Gojo might be the only one to make it past part 3 because of infinity protecting him. I told them Part Dio after sucking joseph blood and saying he was at his strongest (should now have all his vampire abilities back) will beat and kill Sukuna and that he had way too many ways to do this. Conventionally pausing time as the fight starts then freezing Sukuna and shattering him. Or just phasing The World into Sukuna's skull or even his body and becoming tangible again, which will burst Sukuna from the inside out... They kept on saying Sukuna can't be hurt by a non-planetary character even after I said this. I also said Gojo and Sukuna might lose to Vanilla Ice who has a ball that eats space and anything in it's part... a literal dura neg and space manipulation, which should be able to kill Gojo and Sukuna since it literally consumes space itself. What do you think? From this video I believe you think Sukuna is stopping at Kars

​@@josephapsey9965you fucked up already calling it an illusion, an illusion is a false reality to mess with your mind and senses but that's not what a domain is, dagon domain has real water, real grass, real trees, real land, it's also stated the inside of the domain has nothing to do with the outside so the space inside can be large while the outside is confined in a train station in the case of the dagon fight. The reason why the creation inside a domain directly scales to the AP of the characters is it's directly stated the power and scale of the domain is linked to the amount of CE put into it

I think broken Ronan didn't mention that sukuna could his two additional hands to do hand signs and mouth to chant which will increase their power by 80% and if you say they are relative in ap and durability that 80% ap is gonna be a massive and the fact that his slash does damage to the soul which will take more time to heal grantees that if kars gets in the domain he will just die before he gets the chance to escape.

alot of people are discussing the difference between hamon and curse energy so I want to point out that; 1)Cursed energy comes from emotions, usually negative ones, therefore Ultimate Kars should be able to harness and manipulate cursed energy just like cursed spirits do even without a soul, in case one wants to assume that as a -vampire- (check replies) Pillar-Man he does not have any 2)As the ultimate life-form, U-Kars can do, become, surpass, _everything_ that _any_ living being can, which should automatically include being able to harness and manipulate cursed energy. The extent can be safely scaled to being as powerful, and probably even more, as the most powerful human cursed-energy user alive, so basically Gojo, and maybe Sukuna if one wants to count inhabiting a human body a good enough condition? I doubt cursed spirits count as "living beings", but that would be like considering Stands "living beings", I think it just goes heavily into fanfiction territory 3)On the "Soul Manipulation argument", does U-Kars have a soul? Well, Hamon is said to kill vampires because, and I am paraphrasing, it "revives"(kinda hard to choose the correct wording) the soul of a vampire "one last time", restoring the correct flow of life-energy in their body, therefore disintegrating it just like the Sun does, which is the source of all life-energy, which is why it was central in the plot yadda yadda you can do 2+2 So for all intents and purposes we can consider Vampires soul-less, or at least owners of "dead souls"(one could call them.... dark souls... *ba dum tsssh*), but then, does U-Kars, which can now not only withstand the Sun, but has effectively perfectly mastered life-energy manipulation to basically an omnipotent degree, be considered soul-less? I think he is, because I don't think the mask "revived his soul", but simply gave Kars these "godly" powers by gathering and manipulating an huge amount of light straight into his body, specifically his brain - it sounds less like a soul restoration, and more of a biological manipulation. One would have to argue, is biological manipulation equal to soul manipulation? I don't think it is, because otherwise it would automatically give Kars omnipotence over soul manipulation too, since he is basically omnipotent over biological manipulation specifically regarding living beings, and if he does have "soul manipulation omnipotence", then he surely could resist any soul-direct attacks and soul-manipulating hacks. I think I said everything, you're now free to call me a r*tard or whatever you'd prefer EDIT; I want to clarify something that otherwise I think may cause some confusion; from my understanding, the mask does not "manipulate your soul" into becoming a vampire, but simply massively change your body, your brain in particular, into becoming a vampire(remember that the origin of vampirism in JoJo isn't some curse or godly punishment, but more akin to scientific experimentation on the body), which in the process kills you, and well, dead bodies have no souls.

I used the term "vampire" because the Stone Mask turns humans into vampires, and since vampires have similar powers to Pillar-Men, altho inferior, and are both weak to sunlight, it creates a sort connection between the two "species", so for simplicity's sake(especially for those less familiar with JoJo) I fused the two - maybe erroneously. The point I was trying to make is that Kars as a Pillar-Man is still weak to sunlight just as a vampire is - and since a vampire is weak to sunlight because they're souless.. wouldn't that mean Kars, and Pillar-Men in general are soulless too - just like for example , especially after using the Mask, which is known to kill its users upon activation? Maybe I am head-canoning it(I mean I am for all intents and purposes), but I don't really see another explanation, if you want to provide an alternate pow

Kars is only the ultimate life form in his verse. Assuming it applies to other universes is riding him with Zero basis. Not everyone in the jjk verse has cursed energy. The reason they do could be something completely put of the realm of simple biology.

Battle of the Strongest is actually a battle on who can learn who. But remember: Sukuna might be the strongest but in order to become like Kars he needs the Red Stone of Aja and the Sun. So he can't just learn that. But Kars on the other hand can just learn Curse Energy Manifestation/ Manipulation/ Techniques. So I guess it would just be if Sukuna does the thing he did to Mahoraga, Kars might get cooked. If it fails, Kars would cook him.

a neat little tidbit is that stand users see stands, and for Kars to be able to surpass stand users he has to be able to see stands as well, and for him to be able to do that that means he must have a stand; so by proxy, if someone is a stand users, then Kars is too

Also, Jojo has two ways of defending from soul attacks ...One is Love Train, and the other is Wonder of U. It's mostly because these things would either deflect the attack or prevent the user from even initiating it by killing them.

So, I think that because Kars has the powers of all life, the slashes of Sukuna would be useless because of animals like hammerhead worms which can completely regenerate when cut in half, or even smaller segments. That improved on would probably make him impossible to cut, making it even easier

Few notes here: 1. Sukuna's TARGET was space and the earth, meaning he didn't necessarily cut through it directly, it was just his target. 2. Kars' strength was equivelant and surpassing the world CONCURRENTLY, AKA before stands became basic usage and before vampires like DIO popped up once more. There is no statement proving Kars constantly gets stronger depending on the world's current state. 3. Cursed Energy is negative energy, it's basically if you flipped Hamon right on it's head, it is complete NEGATIVE ENERGY. Meaning unless Kars can learn to control negative energy, or distructive energy or death energy, he can't control sukuna's abilities in the slightest. 4. Sukuna was only able to slash mahito because mahito was in sukuna's innate domain. Basically an Innate Domain is a different dimension with ONLY your soul being there. Though now that I think about it, if we count Megkuna, Mahoraga would definitely be able to adapt to land soul slicing slashes at Mahoraga, so yeah. 5. Eating Sukuna wouldn't make you Sukuna's vessel, that only happened because sukuna BECAME A CURSED OBJECT THAT TOOK OVER A VESSEL WHEN EATEN. It's custom conditions, not a gaurantee. I'm not saying sukuna or kars wins im just throwing this out there.

I would be against the concurrently thing since concurrently means the same time as. So kars would learn as the world changes If araki wanted to say kars only gets the abilities of the earth when he became ulf, wouldnt he just say the earth "currently"

Kars can pretty much mimic any lifeform. He's even shown a complete mastery of hamon through this so I wonder how that would go with cursed energy. I think he'd just see it for a second and then all of a sudden he's on the level of Sukuna in terms of mastery or maybe at least like Yuji.

Something to note about Kars is that he adapts to all life on earth and everything they can do. The reason that it is debated whether or not he would have a stand is because stands are from another planet. Because humans are jujutsu sorcerers, it is highly likely that Kars would be able to not only use cursed energy, but also every cursed technique that he comes in contact with, since cursed techniques are genetic. It's also likely that Kars can see cursed spirits since his cells have the genetics of every living being. Basically, he yoinks all cursed techniques he comes across and does them better than the person he got them from. I think it is likely that Kars would see ten shadows and Mahoraga and just make a better version of ten shadows and Mahoraga. Also, there is no killing Kars because he is incapable of dying. Even now, he is still alive in the original universe of JoJo. Idk how, but it is quite literally impossible to kill Kars. Quick side note, if the version of Kars that was fighting Sukuna is Novel Kars, then Novel Kars 101% takes the dub. Novel Kars has 7 stands and has a very good understanding of the soul (on par with Mahito). He has Country+ level durability, Small planet level AP, and is so broken he has literal GOD on his side.

I think scaling JJKs speed so low because of the characters and authors notes only talking mach speeds is a bit ridiculous if youre going to put other verses characters against them. There are multiple curses that use 'light beam' style attacks in multiple different fights and sometimes like with Yuta against Getos grade 1, very early in the power scaling. It feels more like JJKs author just not liking the stupid idea of faster then light speed garbage you see in other series thus 'light' base attacks are not treated as light speed in JJK.

Just imagine how cool that fight would look though

Yeah, Perfect Kars would fold any who opposes him like a fucking deck chair. The only reason he was defeated was because of two reasons; 1.) Kars got arrogant with his powers and fell for Joseph's little mind games, causing him to get launched into space. Yes, I know Joseph didn't plan for that part specifically, but it Joseph was partially responsible, mainly due to how he instinctively raised the Red Stone of Aja to Kars, which caused the volcano they were on to erupt. 2.) When Kars was above Earth, he tried to use air to push himself towards Earth, which what lead him to freeze into that funky looking rock. Kars literally introduced the thing tht beat him into his body. Twice in a row, his overconfident personality lead to his downfall.

I feel like a Jogo vs Kars would actually be closer as Sukuna can control fire which is about 2000 degrees farenhieght, fire can get hotter but it would change to blue which Sukuna has yet to display, and Kars could develop the heat shield thing he did when he was in the volcano but if Jogo is able to use Domain Expansion which has the guaranteed hit effect and use the giant magma meteor thing then Kars could die as when he was in the volcano he had to constantly regenerate the shield in magma but would eventually be broken when Kars runs out of stamina and burn to a crisp in his domain.

Didn't kars also move his small blades on his arm at light speed to make them glow and basketball cut almost anything

i think the thing i love the most about ultimate Kars is the following line of though has you character lived in planet earth? ----> Yes ------> is he genetically powerfull, or the power is because of its genes/linage ------> yes -------> Kars can copy it and be 10x stronger -------> Kars win because yk, they never had specified how ultimate kars works, we only know he can copy everything that had lived on earth, since Kars only knows about planet earth, so brother, if you go like "no but actually Goku wins against Kars", as soon as Kars copies the saiyan ADN is over for Goku no matter how much transformations he has, the more he shows, the more Kars would learn and improve since he has the perfect genes, him being the ultimate creature. so unless is a energy kind of creature (lets say for example, anti espiral) Kars can just go and, yoink, your power is mine. and yes, people will think inmidiatly on Novel Kars with this commentary, but thats just headcanon, i dont personally think Kars can get any soul manipulation, which would be necesary for him to copy stands, since stands, unlike the saiyan stages, are a power driven by the soul of the user, not the genes or something biological. and yes, he could copy energies from other worlds like chakra and Ki, since these are innate to creatures from those worlds, like how humans from dragon ball earth have such low Ki unless they train, and the same for chakra
