2曲目の｢Ever be my love｣と3曲目の｢Always in my heart｣は書いてて号泣しちゃった。クトリがヴィレムへの想いを詩にして綴ったのかなとか思ってたら涙止まんなくなっちゃった 4曲目の｢Scarbrough Fair｣は、これはイギリスの童謡として歌われて来たんだけど、本来の歌詞なら全部｢she｣で歌われるんだけどすかすかの方は全部｢he｣になってて｢やば！｣ってなった。

作画、ストーリー、音楽、演出、どれをとってもこんなに高水準で完成された作品はなかなか無いと思う。 だからこそタイトルで敬遠してしまっている人には是非とも見て欲しい。 終わりが直ぐそこに迫っている少女達が人生の1分1秒を懸命に生きているその生き方に、感動という言葉だけではまとめられない感情を抱くこと間違いなしの作品です。

これ知らない人居るかもしれないけどほんと泣ける。 マジで1度は見てほしい音楽も神だから

曲聞いてるだけで、鳥肌がたって、思い出して、泣きそうになる。 泣きそうになるってわかってるのに聞いて思い出したくなる。

"Scarborough Fair" is a traditional English folk song from the Middle Ages, referring to an old fair in Scarborough, Yorkshire. As a market fair, comprising of traders, merchants and other vendors, it started sometime in the 14th century and used to take place until the 18th century. Song was originally meant to be sang by two vocals in men and female. The original lyrics goes like this: “Tell her to make me a cambric shirt, Parsley, sage, rosemary, and thyme. Without no seams nor needle work, then she'll be a true love of mine.” Sang by the man. In reply to the unreasonable request, she sings: “Tell him to find me an acre of land, Parsley, sage, rosemary and thyme. Between the salt water and the sea strands, then he'll be a true love of mine. “ Obviously seems like the story of “how I meet my soulmate of how we know each other at Scarborough fair but sadly a war split us apart.” Kind of romance.

Always In My Heart always manages to make me burst out crying, every single time, when I hear it i immediatly hear Chtholly saying "arigatou .... Wilem" while she smiles in my head and i can't help it, I start crying so much, that scene broke me😭

i was really blown away by that first episode when they started playing that beautiful Scarborough fair cover. Very very few anime manage to properly capture the feeling of medieval england that fantasy is based on, it's such a shame.

This soundtrack makes me wanna cry so bad😢😢... Chtholl Nota Seniorious is still one of my top tier waifus.

I still think that this is one of the best anime that I've ever watch the story is great, animations is decent and the songs are realy great to listen in fact I have 2 of the songs that was used in the anime itself I was really hoping a second season

You're absolutely wrong. It's actually scarborough fair.... AND YOU KNOW WHY!!?? THEY USED IT WHILE CTHOLLY WAS FIGHTING WITH THE EMNETWIHT FOR HER LOVE. I cried in that scene. And now, whenever I listen to this song, it pierces my heart😭😭

Yeah. Was looking for Scarborough Fair since, quite literally anyone can sing the song and it's still beautiful. But this... These soundtracks are just great, they remind me of a diseased friend of mine I miss very much.

I heard that second season is sheduled for the end of the year

opposite here! YT recommended this video to me, and when I heard Scarborough fair I was like "my god this version is Great now I have to watch this anime..."

Scarborough fair is on another level....i love this song still now.
