This class REALLY needs job levels. It might be Ichibans best Dondoko Laser spam class though, need to check Magic stat at 99 vs Host with +50 weapon.

I completely missed the Sujimon equip function when. I unlocked the job. No wonder I just get generic Sujimon that aren't even real ones when I summon lol. I'm blind as a bat. Thanks for this!

Hey dude, I remember for the last game (Yakuza 7 or like a dragon) you helped me so much with money grinding. I wondering if you can do the same thing with the Dondoko island. You explain it so thoroughly but yet so simple at the same time.

What's your opinion on this job? I have the items that regen mp, so I dont need to worry about basic attacks that much since it doesn't get a weapon.

I hope Sega makes a standalone Sujimon game someday.

Once I get back to playing it I would like to. Timing for Yakuza 8 was just really unfortunate coming out a week before P3R so I only really got 1 week with it.

Hey quick question Since sujimancer skills performance scalling based on your Sujimon, If we inherit those skills into Hero class for example, will it have same/similar performance scalling? Or it will be utterly bad because in other class we cant equip the Sujimon?

Sujimancer skills can't be inherited.

You can only inherit skills from non unique jobs. Sujimancer/ Dragon of Dojima/(Hero I am not sure) -Skills you can't use with other jobs sadly. Otherwise Ichiban in another job with the magic attacks of the sujimancer would be pretty busted. Or Kiryu with a weapon and the rush stance.

The DLC Sujimon, do they have to be ranked up by feeding them Agents? Or are they automatically max rank?

You need to use the generic agent sujimon in order to get them their stars.

You need to actually just go to her gym if I remember correctly. It's by the beach on the far left-hand side; you need to swim out into the ocean a bit and then back to shore to get around a wall.

Maybe talk to Jack again? I missed one dialogue for a later champ in the dojo which is why the story didn't continue for me at first. Or there is this guy outside the gym with a black and white mask, talk to him also.

No but like how good is it actually? Kasuga hits like a truck with burning arrow from samurai and tomi plus chitose have type coverage. Is it just a novelty or what?

It has full elemental coverage on its own and good support, so for Kasuga it's the best magic oriented job for him. the main drawback is it lacks a weapon so its basic attacks are subpar. I know that weapon crafting has a thing that allows for basic attacks to scale off magic instead, which isn't an option for him because no weapon, but I'm curious if there's an accessory that does the same thing.

@@soothsayingProfitThere are boots that let physical attacks scale off Willpower, so there probably is something; keep in mind though, jobs that can't use a weapon have naturally higher stats as well.

​@soothsayingProfit Kiryu, though, he hits like a truck with his base job. In some cases his basic attacks outscales his skill damage. The only downside is Kiryu doesn't learn much elemental damage besides his Kiwami skill.

sujimance is good when you got high level sujimon , im was lvl 60 base level with sujimance job lvl 25++ sujimon lvl 20 doing last level dungeon , sujimon damage like nothing,

Luckily it's extremely easy to get high level Sujimon since you can just feed them Sujimunch.

Am i the only one that is disappointed with how suji works? I honestly thought the moment i heard summons, it would be like those Poundmates, where you summon your Sujimon and it would use its skills for X ammount of turns to fight alongside you. Was pretty annoyed that wasnt the case tho, so i left the job hanging for other fun ones like Desperado XD

I appreciate the guide but I just need a relevant place to vent. I resent the Sujimancer class and the minigame because I can only think about how AWESOME a CEO magic-based job would be for Kasuga in a game called Infinite Wealth. We already lost the orbital laser from 7 but that would be one Kiwami skill. Imagine rich ichi making it rain for heavy magic damage, a money slap for extreme damage. A move where he pays an enemy to charm them, a move where he throws a suitcase full of money and it blows up with a chance to charm and burn for fire medium damage. Calling in his personal security team to taser a group for shock damage. The possibilities for a rich guy's job are endless and it would give me a reason to inherit a magic skill to Ichi Hero for coverage instead of doubling down on blunt damage to make use of fist god's ikika. Hero has balanced stats feels like such a waste to not have any magic skill worth inheriting because RGG threw away their most popular business minigame to date for a Pokemon knockoff... Again the guide itself is very helpful. I beat the game never touching Suijimon battles because I don't like the gameplay but I want that platinum.

The orbital laser is actually still in Yakuza 8 but to get it you need to complete the Dondoko Island mini-game.

@@RozalinGaming Really? Damn, I just beat the big swell. I was going to clean up the Sujimon and Dondoko island stuff before heading to NG+. I appreciate the reply. If I earn the orbital laser and then start NG+ will the skill follow me into NG+ or should I just do Dondoko and the Suji league at the start of my second playthrough?

The higher the rarity and level of your Sujimon the higher their stats. I start going over this and how the job works at 3:06 in the video.

@@supersaiyankrillin1237 A level 50 Kiwami color is 999 stats; a level 50 gold rarity is 849 stats; a level 50 silver rarity is 699 stats; a level 50 bronze rarity is 549 stats; and a level 50 green rarity is 399 stats. A level 50 with only 120 stats simply isn't possible so most likely you are using one that isn't leveled up fully.

@@RozalinGaming i checked again and the stats are 849 now. I still don't know if this job is worth using because it's still getting out damaged by my cabbie and geodancer, who both have solid weapons. Should I just use the hero and get a better bat for kasuga instead or stick with the sujimancer?

@@supersaiyankrillin1237 Sujimancer's biggest strength is flexibility, being able to hit a bunch of elements and support he party at the same time. It will do less damage with melee attacks than jobs that use weapons, but it's normal attacks should close, if not on par. What job you use for Kasuga really just depends on what you need for your party; if it's full of physical attackers, Sujimancer can be your magic user, but if you have 2 other magic users then Hero would be preferred.
