I think personally Harveys character development throughout the whole series is grossly underrated but should be hugely appreciated. I think he couldn't let Donna go because she mirrored his mother, from a young age his mother cheated on his father and reached the point where he was told to keep this little secret which had a profound impact on him as an adult. He can't seem to let Donna go because first, it mirrors his mother as a way of Donna cheating on him. Second he obviously looked at her more than a mere secretary but was scared of vulnerability. But as the plot goes on, Harvey opens himself up, cobfronts his mother and they end up having a great relationship. Which then allows him to also have a great relationship with Donna. This teaches us that vulnerability is courage. It is not weakness. We need to open ourselves and not let fear of getting hurt keep us from achieving our dreams. I also think we should always confront our fears and never never hide from them so that they will never have any control over us.

Currently, I don't have time to make a video request (typically, I don't make any) but maybe I'll make one in the near future. Talha Farooq its not about his fights with Donna dumbass. It’s about Harvey having to fight with himself. Having to make himself vulnerable went against everything he believed in but its what it took to be with Donna.
