I think that Suisei's voice is so clear and refined now that she can't perfectly mimic the roughness of her old voice during her debut.

Most attractive laugh I've ever heard

I can't really tell how hoshiyomis, who watch her from debut feel about voice change, but for me, who discovered vtubers in 2020, Suisei's voice in current state is perfect.

We just saw the progression of her voice. From being high pitched and getting good at singing gradually, having to change her voice because of an imflamation in her throat, getting used to her new voice, gradually changing again because of her throat and her nose issue, and getting the voice she has now after the throat surgery. So, there is only nothing much to feel different from other voice, when we were used to her original voice, she had to change for an issue out of her hand, so we just got used to it, and liked it more and more.

When I watched her back when her voice was still pretty high, I don’t really feel much about Suisei except for Tetris and suicopath. But after I went back again and hearing her normal voice, holy sh*t I’m a Hoshiyomi now

i was there after the release of next color planet, before ghost the voice transition was delicious

I still remember when she cried on membership stream talking about she can't speak like usual high tone anymore because it will damage her throat But everyone is really supportive and welcome her new voice with positive response Now her new natural voice becomes the usual voice and we've got used to it now

Even her singing pitch was really high back then. Hearing it now again, I cry for Suisei's throat. Her voice right now is perfect.

Her singing was still much closer to her normal voice. Like, right one one can compare her talking and singing voice and it is clearly the same person. But back when she was doing the high voice her singing and talking voice were very different. And yeah, vtubers who force their throats to talk in a voice different from their natural one really makes me concerned for their health. Health should really come first.

I've listened to both voices and personally, I prefer her natural voice

Somehow, whenever she switching her voice her attitude switched

I was watching from early 2020 so I was around for the debut voice. When she changed it I was worried because it was so vastly different. But after a stream or two I really fell in love with her current voice. Now when I watch super old clips with her old voice I actually think, I can't believe I was worried about liking the current voice over that.

Suichan natural voice is a beauty.

The truth is I started to love her when she use her natural voice. Lol

I remember specifically avoiding clips featuring her, because the high pitched voice was incredibly grating to me.

Even KoroAzu couldn't hold her laugh xD Sasuga business partner! Able to imitate Miko so flawlessly! Doesn't matter how low or high Suisei's voice, she's still Suisei we all love!

If i I remembered correctly the last time i heard her old voice is from GTA *"CHIISAI incident"* it's been so long

I was there when she was still using her high pitched voice. I have to say her natural voice is way more attractive

If anything, that's toned back from how it actually was.

I do prefer her more relaxed voice than the high pitched one.

It is also better for their health, which is the most important reason to use their natural voices imo.

Sui-chan's voice is powerful, old or new. Though her current voice is more charismatic... but her old voice is also good for suicopathy.

Still think her current voice fit not only character, but also her personality more

As far as I know, in the early days it was important for vtubers to be "anime-like" to attract viewers. Thankfully nowadays vtubers can be more diverse.

I know they are business partners but recently Suisei has been mentioning Miko a lot, I think I am starting to think that what Tadokoro Azusa said last month is true, during this radio show she does with Suisei (Rekousen Scramble) one time when she was commenting on how Miko was a very kind person she literally said to Suisei "That day I could see the reason why you fell for her".

Listening to this, it would crazy to hear the natural voices of Fubuki, Miko, Pekora, or Nene.

Suisei sounds better naturally. It'd be nice if all the members could feel free to drop it a bit rather than risk damaging themselves.

I think vtubers in general should use more natural voice. The amount of strain some Hololive members put on their vocal chords is insane. I'm particularly concerned about Pekora. You can hear it in her voice how it was permanently changed by the constant abuse it has been taking over the years. It's nowhere near as smooth as it used to be. Anyway, Suisei's decision to change her streaming voice to her natural one was a smart choice. I believe it's a must if you want to stay in this industry for years.
