I have been & am still enjoying my time with the game even though I still can't recommend it at full price. It's always interesting when there are multiple opinions on a game. Also I bought the deluxe edition myself so I could play on Monday (see stream), we did get PS5 codes on Tuesday night after I had already finished the story. Questions let me know!

If you put me up to review Street Fighter I will be more negative because simply I do not enjoy fighting games and I rate games on a scale of my enjoyment on them. I enjoy looter shooters so SSKJL might end up being higher than Street Fighter for me. In the end of the day reviews are subjective, we just find reviewers that are closer to our preferences and follow them.

Boomerang's VA gave one of the best performances I've ever seen. Likewise with the animation team. The facial animation might be the best I've seek. Up there with the last of us

This is why I unsubbed like 2 years ago. Jor used to have very good reviews and insights on games. But he sold out very quickly (even for a youtuber) to "access journalism" methods. Where you are never too harsh, or even knowingly praise bad games just so you don't lose a favorable relationship with the developers or publisher.

Even solo I am having an absolute blast with this game! You need to play more than just a few hours and think for yourself. Seems like a lot of people are taking it at face value with other opinions before creating their own. Educate yourself on it and see if you still hate it. If you do dislike it, that's absolutely fine. I just hate to see people brush something off because of something someone else said. That goes for anything [music, movies, books etc]. Never limit the possibility of you enjoying something.

Sure if it's free. But no it costs a full price for just 10 hours of content. ( 3 hours being cutscenes ). If you support scummy practices by publishers ( adding denuvo as update , pulling the game offline after making users pay extra for early access , not sending review codes just because the reviewer gave a previous negative opinion) you are part of the problem. Co founders of rocksteady left the studio to make their own.

Already spent more time in this game than it took me to Plat Spiderman 2 lol. Definitely worth it, having a blast with my friends! Can't wait to see what they give us down the line.

How is the dialogue a good change of pace??? It’s the same quirky dialogue that’s been in everything for the last five years. It’s almost identical to the cringe that came out of Forspoken. There’s a good reason people hate this game. I’m sure some brainlets are just on the bandwagon, but there is very little this game does that isn’t marred with issues.

Man, I’ll stay tuned to your gameplay analysis but your ability to judge writing quality needs some work. Good writing shouldn’t be something we reserve for movies and tv.

CP took me 3 years to actually play and I stopped playing Alan Wake after about 4 hours and surprise, SB INC. If we can band together and Bud Light the fuck out of this industry I guarantee they change course. I'm not saying avoid all new games but when it's obvious the devs and pubs do not give a fuck about you, don't give them money. Otherwise, you're gonna get Suicide Squad every time.

@@justinodemon619 I actually just started playing this and i still want more UI customisation. There is an option to off HUD but that literally turns every single thing off including aiming reticule. There is a persistent dot center of the screen that i certainly dont need out of combat. I also find the weapon icons on the left and the minimap unnecessary.

This comment section wild, ppl really feeling some type of way because the man actually enjoyed his time with it and giving a review based off his own experience.

The gameplay is solid! The downfall, unfortunately, is that the game is designed for a single-player and should have kept off-line because it just doesn't benefit being always online. Matchmaking is useless unless you have friends playing the game and is more repetitive than Destiny 2 with its design format of live service. A game that's taken many years of development feels like a ps4 title, definitely not a next gen IP, and not worth the price it's asking for. Thanks.

Im very sat on the fence here but i love looter shooters and the main reason i love borderlands is because all content can be played solo where most of these type of games become.impossoble at end game for solo players wothout spe ding 100s hours grinding the same content. But to hear you say this game is solo friendly makes me very interested. Question is will it stay that way. Standard version is available for £45 in the UK but I'd like to see what they add before commiting incase they then want loads more for the extra content. Surely the next few updates shoukd be made free.

I've played for hours and hours, and game is good but gets to a point where you need to play with a team if your going to progress. I jumped on board because it's a live service, but will tell you now that it becomes extremely repetitive, and unless it switches to a single-player experience, the live service model will not work, unfortunately. I'm no fan boy or hater, I can just tell from other live service games I've played.

Best to wait until they bring in an optional automatic matchmaking button like Destiny 2 where they pair you up with random and their current manual system is terrible. The game will be a hell of a lot better when that's done.

So, you can play this game solo AND the AI squad members can be customized with their own loot and skins. You can even borrow your friend’s squad member (called social squad in game) to play. VERY solo player friendly.

Im honestly havong a blast too. One year from now, this game is gonna be epic with lots of content and new characters. I just hope they bring new threats in the world. Because we only fought a.i.m in marvel avengers

Glad you are also enjoying the game Raptor. I’ve been playing (taking my time) and having a lot more fun than I thought I would initially. Definitely can’t wait to play more, maxing out the characters and see what they can add to this universe. LOTS of potential.

Ive gotta say when this game came out i couldnt believe how bad people were saying this game is when i saw the gameplay i was so interested i understand going from the arkham games to this is a downgrade but i got the game last week for 20 and im obsessed its the most fun ive had this year in a game

Even if the gameplay is fun, from what I gather this game has less content than Destiny had at release. And how long was this in development? 7-8 years? And in the same timeframe this same studio released all the Arkham Trilogy? Something ain't right.

What happen to people having different opinions? Y’all can disagree by all means. Sayin you’re disappointed cause he doesn’t share your opinion? He owes you not a damn thing also he bought the game himself. He’s a review and discussion channel for video games. He has been since I found his channel back during AC origins. Also he’s been my deciding decision on what games I buy. Games are high asf rn and his reviews never disappoint 🤷🏾‍♂️

Hello there, I’m sharing the same opinion than you about the game. I’m really enjoying it. I could only advise to people who are not really into shoot/looter to pass, there’s nothing for you there. You could watch the story on KZread definitely. But for the others, oh my the gameplay is so satisfying, can’t wait to see what they have in kitchen, cuz the 1.0 is solid. Not perfect. But still.

the game is kinda good but for me is not cannon, and its a harley's bad trip

I'm liking it so far myself. Still at the beginning. Harley is my favorite for traversal and Deadshot is my favorite for combat. The attacks feel very fluid and fun to use. My only issue is how overwhelming some missions end up being. You're swamped with enemies and can't get a proper advantage sometimes. Maybe that will change as I rank up my characters.

This is why it's better to watch reviewers from individuals. I knkw jorraptor likes games like assassins creed and horizon, so when I watch this review I know his preference. I have the opposite preference from him, so it's safe to say that I won't enjoy this game.

I'm liking it too. Deadshot was my main. The traversal and combat I'm loooving. Scratches my sunset overdrive itch

this is worth $30 to me. I will play it at that time. So later this year 😅

The fact that u like the movie makes you lose credibility.

The price, not the reviews or the noise surrounding this game, is the barrier for me. It doesn't yet sound like enough, there, there for me to fork over full price.

While the content is somewhat lacklustre at least till season 1 launches. The story, characters, gameplay and loot is really good imo, people just want to hate for the sake of hating. The game isn’t perfect but it’s also not as bad as everyone wants it to be

I swear no matter what, ppl always find something to hate. A while back some ppl said most of ps games are movies without gameplay. Last night with the new rise of the ronin trailer, most of those ppl said the graphic is from the ps3 era. Yeah they just want to hate, no matter what

I plan on getting this game at some point. I've heard a cpl reviews about it that are like yours and I'm happy to hear good things from people I trust about this stuff. I feel like this game is getting trolled on for some reason or another, live service blah blah blah. It looks fun and interesting to me.

I found the game to still be fun and I enjoyed Boomerang. That being said, there’s obviously a lot to critique besides the obvious. Overall, paying full price hurt a lot less than with Gotham Knights and I’ll stay optimistic for now.

I'm sorry to say it man but the tone and the "funny" dialogue are one of the reasons why, you know which moments are the worst. Especially with that one moment in the story. You know what I mean.

The game does look fun kinda wish there was more to the melee combat then just being 3 attacks, but I have a feeling that it's going to come out on gamepass or ps plus in a few months so I don't wanna bother paying it for $70 dollars.

Love the video... Im at level 218 with 150 hours in on ps5 and i love the game.... People DO jump on the hate wagon and make up there minds before even playing it. I was the same way. ... Im glad i got it and found out myself. I truly hope it does not get canceled

people who bought this game and say they are gonna get 100 hours in because they want to get their money worth are clowns clearly nobody asked for a looter shooter from rocksteady , stop supporting mid cash grabs and maybe then game companies will understand . just FYI rocksteady co-founders sefton hill and jamie walker left the company , you could guess why .

for me, in my opinion the price is bullshit. In Malaysia is RM400+ is bullshit. Game wise not bad, story ok, the gameplay, gunplay, traversal are alright. cosmetics for me not so much. but for RM400, come on man. battle tokens? battle pass? Come on, u guys made arkham series make better. i actually a bit mad u did the league dirty, but i hope u could turn around in the endgame. TURN IT AROUND GUYS!!!!

Dusted off my PS3, replaying Arkham City. Last save file was 2018. Forgot how much of a masterpiece this game was.

Not to throw shade at you bro, but you liked this game because you normally like anything Ubisoft puts out. It essentially assassins creed and far cry. “Beat/shoot up guys, Go to this tower, climb up and claim the tower. Collect stuff too”

I know the lack of people in the open world is written into the story. But it is just depressing watching gameplay for this due to how barren and “dead” the world looks. Will give it a go when it inevitably hits PS+ or gamepass by end of the year

Everyone has the right to their opinions, and it's perfectly fine for someone to enjoy any game they want. However, nowadays, people tend to follow the views of others without forming their thoughts. Many content creators on KZread express their opinions about games, and viewers tend to adopt them as their own. My question is, have you played Suicide Squad? If not, you shouldn't rely solely on other people's opinions. It's better to play the game yourself and form your own opinion. Following the crowd without thinking for yourself is not a good idea.
